Songs that get stuck in your head.

I think everyone has certain songs that once listened to, stay in your head for the rest of the day. Here are my "Stuck in my head songs of damnation."

Mr. Roboto-Styx. I don't know why it happens. I don't know how it happens. But EVERY TIME I hear this song it's in my head for 24 hours, and cannot be removed.

Stone the Crow-Down. That bluesy opening riff, especially.

De Anza Jig-Primus. Too catchy, too goofy. I still remember, julie torritino, the dancing filipino...

Exodus - "The Toxic Waltz" gets stuck in my head every day for at least 2 or 3 hours...just the chorus, though.

Scatman John - "Scatman" is extremely catchy...

Nevermore - "Believe In Nothing" and Metallica - "Master Of Puppets" are songs that go through my had a lot when I want to kill time.

"Superman" -- Eminem

Almost all of Avril Lavigne's songs.

It just depends on what I listen to before I start the day off.

For the longest time, it was the Hardy Boyz theme. Then it was Toploader's cover of "Dancing in the Moonlight". Currently it'd be "Oh Boy" by Cam'ron...

Usually, whatever song I hear first in the morning is what is stuck in my head for the rest of the day.

Once, I even had a Kylie Minogue song playing over and over again for a few hours. I blame MuchMoreMusic.

Wasn't that fun to have in your head for a day, Treble?

Today's KYLIE~! song to get stuck in my head was "Boys," one of the two tracks added to her album's US release.

I don't know if it was 'fun', as I usually don't like having any songs stuck in my head, as mostly it's just a verse or two that I can actually remember, and it begins to drive me nuts after a little while.

Also, I'm always afraid that I'm going to start singing the song out loud, and humming 'Love at First Sight' at an inappropriate moment could get me some weird looks.

Hmm, depends on which version it is. If it's the version they released in Australia, great! If it's the version they released for the single and video in the US, oof. Why they felt a need to make it sound like some cheesy late 80s song is beyond me.

That happens to me also, I'll get simply a phrase in my head, then I'll start saying it out loud. I think Ja Rule saying "Bitches better have my money fo sure!" from Can I Get a... was in my head an entire Academic Team trip once.

The worst is when I combine 2 songs in my head, so I'll sing a verse from one song and then go right into another one. Frustrates me.

As for which version it was, I have no clue. It was whichever one they made the video for.

Ergh. Bad version then. I'm very sorry, Mr. Charged.

(listens to original and chills)

It used to be whatever Jason Cross's intro song was in Wildside (I forget the name; just know it was on the Matrix Soundtrack), but now usually it's either Fozzy's "L.O.V.E. Machine" or John Mayer's "Love Song For No One".

Notice how everyone on this board seems to get old school heavy metal in their head?

Andrew WK gets stuck in ym head VERY badly, as does System and occasionally the random pop song (Avril's "Complicated"...grrr..)

I usually have A Story About A Girl by Our Lady Peace in my head. Same with Prayer by Disturbed.

The worst is when I get a verse or two stuck, and CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHAT THE NAME OF THE SONG IS! It gets really friggin' annoying, because it's all I can think about, and then I forget things that are important.

Right now:

I have Eminem's "This looks like a job for me...So everybody, just follow me..." song. I hate rap & Eminem, so why it's there, I don't know.

Usually, I have Kurt Angle's theme in my head, that I just play in my head all day. ::sways to the music::

If I listen to the Cure or REM, then *at least* one song gets stuck in my head for days. Not that I mind, but I always end up writing down the lyrics or singing aloud...

I think I'm starting to get "Friday I'm In Love" in my head now, just because of Sebastian. Thanks man... <_<

It's never going to go away...

Previous song stuck in my head: The GI Joe theme.

I used to have that problem too... only I'd get a bit of a guitar part or a similar instruments part in the song and be so frustrated trying to figure it out.

Bizzy Bone & Joker the Bailbondsman "Uh Huh"

It's the worst song ever, but I saw the video and laughed at how much it sucked ass. My roommates and I sing it to be assholes, then other people get ti stuck in thir heads. I really hate that fucking song so much....I think I'll go listen to it now.
