The Rock got his wake-up call tonight, the fans did it to Bret when they thought he sold out - You turn on your fans and the business, then you get what you deserve.

Fuck Rock, Bring on The Next Big Thing

"Just want to point out that instead of ordering the ppv, I opted to finally buy Bruce Campbell's autobiography, I also picked up a few more Elmore Leonard books that I've yet to read.

Somehow, someway, I think I made the right choice."

Yeah, Math (Or whatever the hell those thing are on the SAT, I don't know; MY school can't afford the damn thing) agrees with you.

I suppose that since Brock is face now, Heyman has to go away. What better way to do it than to have Heyman join HHH???

Someone want to go to the mental institution Angleplex must have been committed to after seeing who was in the first match and see what he thought?

The crowd BOOed the Rock Bottom and cheered the Brock Bottom. You can see them doing it for christs sakes.

PEOPLE JUMPED UP AND DOWN WHEN BROCK WENT FOR THE F-5!

HELL, TAZZ EVEN SAID THAT THE CROWD WAS CHEERING BROCK!

That does nothing to change my view that people are complete and total morons.

Hmm..this brings to light this thought.

Maybe the fans in Toronto were'nt as much cheering for Hogan cause they wanted the Hulkster back as they were booing the Rock for leaving again???

Rock = HBK

Brock = Austin

Its the way of the wrestling buisness

I'm not sure there's anything that would change that view for me.

Oh, good point. As we all have seen, the WWE has gone to great lengths to present Lesnar as a likeable and fan-friendly guy.

Christ.

The show was good, not greatest ever as Bret4Ever thinks, but good nonetheless.

I'm glad I was wrong about HBK/HHH, that was a good match.

The Back injury was a swerve!

That's the thing, though. Unless we start hearing different in after-show reports, we have no reason they were told to do this.

It started at WrestleMania and now it's official. Even "the people" are tired of the Showboat.

Wow, that was an amazing show. Nasseu, by its own standards, was live.

You may be right.

Of course, if could have been that my FUCKING DOGS had to go in and out of the house 16 times during that match!

Although between Jericho losing and Angle curtain jerking, I may have just been so pissed at HHH that I wanted the match to be horrible, so in my head it was.

Or something............

Well holy shit.

As surprising as the chants for Lesnar were, if you think about it, it makes sense. Brock hasn't done anything paticurly heelish since his debut, except beat up Hulk Hogan( which as been done so many times, its probably lost it effectiveness). In fact he's been presented as a legitamite wrestling badass who doesn't back down from anybody. Hell, no wonder they cheered him.

Lol. I'll watch it again later, this time without bad thoughts for HHH in my head.

Damn you, WWE.

Damn you and your stupid pushes, piped in chants, and screwed up match endings.

You expect me to believe a man who got NO entrance reaction, and no reaction for MONTHS suddenly gets popped, while the most popular man in the "sport" gets booed?

I'm not stupid, and I feel that this crap insulted my intelligence one too many times.

*sigh*, I know you posted this a while ago but I truly hope you don't still believe any of what you said before. I saw it, it is real, they were cheering for Brock and booing the f*ck out of Rocky. Fans were jumping around for Brock, they booed almost everthing Rocky did, period. Don't get me wrong...

...I still think I just watched an episode of The Twilight Zone.

*drools over the ENTIRE PPV* It was fan-damn-tastic, from top to bottom in my view. Every match on the card, I marked out for, period.

Does this mean I need to change my signature now!? :( :( :(

Both Keller and Meltzer rated the HBK match the best match on the show why do their opinions differ so much from yours when their usually similar. I get the feeling that HHH hatred blocks out some peoples wrestling sense. I'm not saying the match was great but I didn't think it was horrible.

This is true, but it came out of NO WHERE. He has never truly got a heelish reaction before, much less ANYTHING that would stand up for his reaction tonight.

Was the HBK/HHH match a lot like HHH/Austin from No Way Out in 2001?

Ah, HHH Vs. HBK, I LOVED IT! I can't explain it, but I just loved everything about it. The story it told in the ring, the bumps, the blood, the emotion, EVERYTHING! When HBK reached for the ladder, oh God, the chills that I felt go down through my spine. Then, when it looked as though HBK was out of it and he did the kip-up, HOLY CRAP, I haven't marked for something like that in a VERY long time. His look when he did that, then standing in the corner for the Sweet Chin Music, it was great! Then the ending, I couldn't help but to jump up!

I loved Summerslam 2002. Ladies and gentlemen, it is for shows like this one, that I am a Pro. Wrestling fan, PERIOD.

I loved it MORE than that match, it was just so more meaningful, I LOVED the story it told to me, the fan.

I almost wished I'd have stopped at HHH/HBK. I have to say, I marked out like a little bitch for Michaels. Good PPV (ME was an exeption), screwy booking..as always.
