While I enjoyed Konnan's WCW antics for a while, his character quickly grew stale and I became disenchanted with his whole routine. I am however at a bit of a loss as to how you are so recently developing this hatred. It would be as if I were to say, "you know, I'm really starting to get sick of that Road Dogg guy"

I didn't get into wrestling until late '99, and then I mostly watched WWF, while sporadically checking out WCW; therefore, I didn't see much of Konnan at the time.

 

However, I've been watching quite a bit of WCW lately, and have discovered that I really, really hate Konnan.

Well... he was never very good. In his mid-90's prime he could be tolerable in a "Test on a good night" sort of way, but got progressively worse and worse throughout the years.

For a long time, it seemed like whenever I watched WCW all I saw was Konnan doing his "Odelay!" routine. That probably explains why I never watched WCW.

I was so hoping when I saw the Big Gold Belt and Eric mention Nitro that he was going to announce that he is turning RAW to WCW. I still hold out hope for that.......

I was really starting to like WCW towards the end, with the crusiers getting pushed, Booker getting pushed, Steiners interesting run as champ. Damn I wish it were back just so I didn't have to watch WWE and only WWE

I don't want WCW back. Everytime they have a good angle they fuck it up. Every fucking time. I didn't want to see them piss on Steiner's title reign or fuck up Booker's.
