Guest Downhome Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 I prefer downloading acoustic versisons of songs, as it gives me a better representation of the artists vocal talent. Well, that and I can also take some of that "harder" music which I don't like normally. So you get the idea, I guess. I want some suggestions for some acoustic versions of songs to download, from all the way back in the early 90's to right now currently. Thanks guys, now lets see what you can come up with! Sincerely, ...Downhome...
Guest poopsaver4000 Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 "Tears Of The Dragon (Acoustic)" by Bruce Dickinson. "Patience (live acoustic)" by Guns N' Roses "Pallar Anders Visa" by In Flames (no vocals though) And anything off of Neil Young's "Unplugged" album.
Guest Nevermortal Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 MOSTLYAnything by Death in June is acoustic...go for "Mourner's Bench" more than anything though.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 I think you might be able to find some acoustic Megadeth bootlegs, because they did a couple club dates with an all-acoustic set...
Guest TheyCallMeMark Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 I would recommend acoustic Buckethead songs. They're instrumentals, but Buckethead kicks ass.
Guest raptor Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 I'd Reccomend: Acoustic Versions of: Superman's Dead, Imagine, Thief, Starseed, Supersattelite, 4 A.M., and Clumsy. All are by Our Lady Peace. Also, Bother, by Corey Taylor off the Spider-Man Movie Soundtrack.
Guest HHH's 'Roid Needle Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 Pretty much anything by Brad Nowell(Sublime), especially: --Poolshark, Saw Red, BOSS DJ, Rivers Of Babylon, and MARLEY MEDLEY are probably some of the best acoustic played songs I've ever heard. Best. Voice. Ever.
Guest Vitamin X Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 Anything off Nirvana Unplugged... That's the 'ish right there... Oh, and Pink Floyd's cover of Stairway to Heaven and Metallica's Unforgiven in acoustic version are pretty good as well...
Guest Sebastian_the_Bastard Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 BLINK182 - what went wrong? GOOD CHARLOTTE - change PEDRO THE LION DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL ...wasn't there just a topic exactly like this one?
Guest starvenger Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 Well, the unplugged "Layla" was a hit, so get Clapton Unplugged. Spirit of the West's "Home For a Rest" is probably acoustic, so I'll recommend that as well. Some other stuff: - Frente!, "Bizarre Love Triangle" - Tesla, "Signs" - The Barenaked Ladies' Yellow album (the indy tape)
Guest godthedog Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 anything from r.e.m.'s recent unplugged set, ESPECIALLY 'south central rain'.
