Guest areacode212 Report post Posted September 12, 2002 How did you guys who HAVE versions of Fire Pro D ACTUALLY get them? I bought mine in a store that sells import games. Yeah, it was expensive, but the low price of the DC offset the cost. Isn't there a DC version of MAME? Is it easy to set up, and does it play games well in 2-player mode? For the person who wanted to know where to buy a dreamcast, It doesn't help anyone if you don't give a clue as to where you live. Guest Pegasus Kid Report post Posted September 12, 2002 Like many others I waited until the system was pretty much on its last legs before investing. By that point piracy of DC games was in full swing (and everything was self boot THANK GOD) so acquiring games was a piece of cake. At just under 100 games it's still my favourite system and I don't see a reason to invest in another system when I'll never run out of stuff to play. In fact I just picked up the very last Dreamcast game ever released (just came out in Japan) known as "Ikaruga." It's a blow away amazing top view shooter. Like someone mentioned earlier, if you've got a decent connection and a CD burner then you can go to school on this system. I'll never part with mine.
