Lets discuss fueds we'd like to see.

I was justing picking my nose this morning and I started thinking about what they're doing with our resident former cruiserweight champion, The Hurricane and his partner Shannon Moore. I started to mumble incoherently to myself about how they're being wasted fighting Billy and Chuck, and also how the cruiser division in general really sucks ass. In around thirty minutes of not mowing the lawn, I had decided exactly what I would be doing with Hurricane and Moore. It doesn't seem like rocket science to me. Why don't we recticfy this whole division by taking a step back and look at some of the foundations we've already poured.

 

There was that whole Billy Kidman/Jamie Knoble standoffish sort of thing going on for a while, and seeing as those two are the two best cruisers on the roster (save Rey), why not just pull the trigger on that fued? Kidman is pretty likeable and very good, so why not just have him and Knoble square off in matches where Knoble dominates, Kidman bumps his ass off then Kidman comes back at the end with a few highspots for the pins (or visa versa). It doesn't exactly take a genious to add one and one, and it doesn't exactly take a genious to figure out WTF these two should be doing. Hell, the bookers were thinking along these lines anyway before they decided to go with the whole "Nidia is a whore and she wants to take off all her close and tongue Michael Cole and have a threesome with a distgruntled Japanese man" angle.

 

Ok, besides Hurricane and Moore, what other cruiserweights have nothing to do? HMMM. LET ME THINK. OH, MAYBE BILLY AND CHUCK. NO. Ho-lee Christ. How hard is this? You have a solid worker along with a spot machine who only need a little direction in their matches to learn how to become exceedingly good workers and be carried to exceedingly good matches. Now, if only we had two amazing cruiserweight workers with nothing to do who have been tagging together for awhile. OH WAIT. WE DO. Come on, how great would Hurricane/Moore v. Guerrero/Guerrero be? If you're looking for some great midcard action to fill out a rather weak card (like Unforgiven) it doesn't get much god damn easier than this. I could even see a match of **** caliber out of this nice combo here. Not like it would be hard to start a fued, just have Eddie make fun of Hurricane in his great mexican accent. Besides, what's the worst that could happen? Some of Hurricane's heat might rub off onto Eddie?

 

Now, give me those two matches on a card and I will buy your PPV, WWE. I will buy your PPV.

 

My post might have been centered on the cruiser division but other than that I've got the feud I want (Benoit/Angle) and I'm pretty happy. I don't watch RAW so I have no clue if there are any good peopleover there for Jericho or Book Book to fued with, but I'd like to get them in a good situation (maybe eachother)? What the hell is the RAW roster, anyway? I might have to check that out. Anyway, any other fueds people want to see now or maybe a ways off in the future?

Rant, I really don't see how that match could work. RVD, as much as I like him and mark out for him, can't sell properly, and don't think HHH can work a good match nowadays with somebody outside of the Kliq.

The REAL problem with an HHH/RVD feud is that it'd be really one sided. Like Jericho.

Don't worry. In the WWF's on going quest to Get Brock and Edge to replace Kurt and Rob, they have established that Angle and RVD are idiots. Thus, they are JUST TOO STUPID to humiliate each other!

Michaels/RVD, just for the hell of seeing the two compete. Hopefully before Shawn goes back to Texas for the last time. RVD can learn from him, as long as Shawn is willing to teach his skills.

and at least RVD can bump...which is why his matches with lumbering big men aren't as bad as most matches with lumbering big men.

 

Unless he's getting squashed by Big Show.

Much like how HBK's back problems magically went away at the 15 minute mark...

No one takes more criticism for it than RVD.

 

Not that it isn't deserved...

 

but it's not like most wrestlers aren't aweful at it too...

 

they just don't get put under the spotlight on here.

Feuds:

-Saturn vs. Funaki (An OFFICIAL FEUD)

-Benoit/Guerrero (Have these two ever properly feuded?)

-Benoit/RVD (One that gets, you know, build)

-Benoit/Funaki (ok, just ONE MATCH)

-Albert vs. Bull (*JUST* for JR's reaction - and yes, they both are on smackdown - but c'mon, you know JR wants a piece of that sweet hoss pie and would find SOME way of getting his bbq sauce stained hands on it)

-Some Cruiser 6 man tag feud, like Rey/Kidman/Funaki/Helms vs. Tajiri/Knoble/Chavo/Moore (c'mon, you KNOW he is turning) where each respective storyline gets interconnected with another and the end calls for a war-games esque match with a ton of spots and another ton of spots.

-Angle/Guerrero (see if Angle could keep up with Eddie 2k2)

-Angle/Benoit (is benoit the ONLY guy who is able to get out of the angle slam and NOT make it look contrived?)

-Billy Gunn vs. Bob Holly (JUST to see Michael Coles head explode after having to decide who to cheer.)

bps is really going to enjoy HHH/RVD, there's too many possibilities for HHH's antics to become even more obvious than they already are, which would be like putting a bloody peice of meat into a shark tank, or HHH may actually gain some fans by making RVD look good. RVD getting chants and pops are both good for making HHH look like a hated heel. All RVD's support may work in his favor so I don't see why he'd want to sabotage that in their feud. I have that same odd feeling Mr. Rant. I've been waiting for that for a while now.

I'd also like to see Hurricane/Shannon (c'mon turn him into a super hero already!) vs. The Guerreros (CHEAT TO WIN~). If they sold it right, it could be the kind of over-the-top "good vs. evil" storyline that suits the Hurricane just right.

Oh, that was GOLD. The other announcers are believeable when they say they have wives or whatever, but Cole just... isn't.

 

To keep on the subject, I want to see RVD/HHH fo sheez, with RVD being made to look like a real threat, and winning out in the end. Surely Trips can take it out on someone else afterward. Perhaps Jericho if he's still around.
