Guest OlympicHeroY2J Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 For me, my favorite free-TV gimmick match is: TLC III on Smackdown - The Hardyz vs. Edge/Christian vs. The Dudleyz vs. Benoit/Jericho As for my favorite free-TV normal match, it's often forgotten but it was actually a very good match: Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Rob Van Dam on Smackdown. The build-up to the match was great with Austin yelling he was gonna kick the next person's ass who walked into that room. Then, who should walk in but R-V-D. The whole match was great and then RVD got a basically clean win. I don't know, I just thought the match was one of the best ones ever put on TV. What are some of your favorite WWE Free-TV matches ?
Guest Anglesault Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 Gimmick: Wow, uhm, wow. I gess the ladder match between Eddy/RVD this June. That's the only thing that really sticks out Normal: Austin/Angle January 2001, where they suplexed the shit out of each other begfore HHH ruined it.

Jericho/Benoit... The Quad Tear match. Jericho/HHH -- Jericho's 'title' win. Maybe not great, but damnit I was marking out. That's all that comes to mind, right now.
