Brock bombing as champ?

Recommended Posts

Guest RavishingRickRudo

Blaming Brock for low house shows is like Blaming George W for Global Warming - the problem was there long before he was given his position.

Giving a green hoss like Brock the belt was a huge mistake. Somebody who has paid their dues for years like Benoit or Test should get it.

Pinnacle...I suggest taking any problem with me to the NHB or site feedback folders.

My post was completely on topic...and you, for some unknown reason, chose to go off topic about it.

So either grow up or take it where it belongs.

Give him time; facing Undertaker isn't going to help.

I was ALL for giving him time to develop into a guy who is over and wrestles good matches. But Vince decided to give him the belt before either thing happned, and I'm sorry, but I'm against undeserving champions. But since I'm such a nice guy, I'll give him to Unforgiven. If he has a good match and it gets a good buyrate, then there you go. I'll be waiting.

This "Upside" and "Potential" stuff is crap too. He hasn't even shown a glimmer of hope in the ring.

You know Anglesault is going to be *all over* this....

Now, I don't want to make any comparisons, So I'll just go watch BIG DADDY. Now, isn't that COOL? Then maybe I'll look at that edition og Playboy to wonder why people thought Chyna was BIG and SEXY. Or, I could always read David vs. Goliath. Man, he was a GIANT KILLER, huh?

Brock is highly entertaining in the ring. That's in my opinion and in A LOT of other fan's opinions. He's not even CLOSE to being as bad as the bitter smart marks on this board make him out to be.

I swear, Brock goes out at SummerSlam, tears the f'n house down, and all of you smart marks start to panic because another hoss might be getting over and stealing the limelight from the Vanilla Midgets.

Apparently, smart marks are deaf to the chants of, "Let's go Lesnar!", which are echoing in arenas all across the country.

Get this through your thick, bitter, jaded, workrate-loving little minds: WWE is set on pushing Brock to the moon. They will push him to the moon. And there's nothing that you can do about it!

Unless we're talking about two different boards, most of the people on here that I saw were GLAD that Rocky was getting booed.

Yeah...I love when people "tear the house down" in sub *** matches.

Good point.

If by all accross the country you mean one time at the ppv...

another good point.

If not...then you're wrong.

Yeah...I love when people "tear the house down" in sub *** matches.

That's YOUR rating. Rating a match is highly subjective. I gave it ****, most people give it *** 1/2-*** 3/4. If you thought that it was sub-***, fine...but your rating is not gospel, and it doesn't make me wrong.

If by all accross the country you mean one time at the ppv...

No, actually I meant on the RAW after SummerSlam. And on Smackdown!...and every house show report I've read has him getting HUGE pops. But hey, what do I know? :)

They weren't as loud or as long as SummerSlam, bps, but the chants were on Raw/Smackdown.

And I'd give the match about ***, in case anyone's wondering.

Edit: Though I suppose, as noted above, Canned Heat is an option.

****?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

As for part 2...

what shows were you watching?

The day after Summerslam, Brock was just as unover as the day before SummerSlam.

Although Heyman managed to get himself some heat.

Why lie about something that anyone who either saw, or more importantly taped the show can see you are wrong about?

****?

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The chants are on the tape, bucko. Either YOU are lying, or you have a serious case of Hoss Denial.

I had a bad case of Hoss Denial myself back in '98.

And more importantly, do you EVER make a positive post outside of the Puro forum?

Less than ***?!!

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

No...wrong.

You can look it up quite simply.

Brock and Paul come out to nothing.

Paul talks...token boos.

HHH and Taker come out...and the segment further died from there.

I'm not talking about segments. I'm talking about matches. That's when Brock is at his best...tearin' it up in the squared circle.

Oops... methinks BPS is right on the Raw count... my memory's going.

But I'm positive in his dismantling of Matt Hardy, the chants were there... I might have SD! on tape, I'll go check.

Yeah, the chants were definitely there on Smackdown!.

Not 110% sure about RAW.

"Tearin' it up?" Is that Hoss Lingo for plodding and boring me to tears?

Well...

A: Brock didn't wrestle on that RAW.

and B: I have no doubt that the Brock chants that weren't at the live RAW the day before reappeared the next day on the taped SD!.

no doubt at all.

Nah, that's terminology for pulling off high-impact power maneuvers that Kurt Angle can only dream about.

Oh boy...so now they are piping in "Let's go Lesnar!"??

I've OFFICIALLY heard it all from bitter bps.

Um...

so wait...

he couldn't get a reaction live from the crowd the day after the ppv...

but he got one on tape...from a show that has been pumping heat in since it started...

and It's SOOOOOO out of the realm of possability in your mind that a man who got heat exactly 1 time from a live crowd in his WWE career, gets it on tape due to the addition of heat...that you can't even consider it?

Because it's the only reaction he ever got that they can use.

Unless they want to throw in the generic "Boo" sounds they use for all the heel backstage segments.

All of Lesnars matches are watchable - not ***** classics, but they work. He DOES get a reaction, boos or cheers or whatever, the crowds reaction to him is NOT of indifference. So this 'he has horrible matches and gets no heat' is unwarranted. You guys just don't want him getting pushed over RVD (bps) or Angle (Anglesault) and that's fine, you have every right to feel that way, but for the love of god stop exaggerating things.
