Pro Wrestling on ESPN Classics 9/7/02

The two matches tonight/early tommorow morning will be:

 

1. Buddy Rogers vs. Pat o'Connor(6/30/61) in a best of three falls match for the NWA championship. This is supposedly a great match but since I haven't watched any stuff this old I don't know what to expect and if it still holds up to today's pro wrestling.

 

2. Argentina Tony Rocca vs. Karl Van Hess(6/30/61)

 

 

This will be the first time I watch pro wrestling on ESPN Classics but I will post my thoughts on it after I see it. It's on here at 3:00 A.M. on the west coast.

I stayed up..I watched it....I liked it..I wish I had taped it...got to see an NWA title switch from 40 years ago....Buddy Rogers was indeed the man

I so disappoint myself, I was set to stay up so I didn't bother setting the VCR to record or setting the alarm and ended up falling asleep while resting my eyes with the tv on. I wish it had a better timeslot so that I could actually watch it instead of dropping off and getting pissed for doing so.
