established poster at TSM has came to essentially mean that you have a high post count.

 

So therefor anyone with over 1500 posts or so is an established poster wether the posts they make are good are bad.

1500 is an arbitrary number, obviously. I think I became established the night of the KotR PPV, where I made a strong showing in the related thread, and finally started getting noticed by more than two people.

 

By the way, I think I was somewhere in the 600s that evening.

Established is not really based on number. I think Dames had/has a very small number of posts. An established poster is someone who once you hear the name, you know who they are without having to think about it.

And TC, our feud rocked Risk/Rob's feud, if only because unlike Rob, you can spell your name. Plus, that is the feud that basically "established" us.

I concur with AS (gasp!) on this matter. If it takes you a thousand posts to get noticed, then you must've not said nor did anything to make you stand out before. I did little to distinguish myself in my first couple of months at the forum, and I generally look to the KotR ppv--and my involvement with the State of America (which was around the same time)--as the turning point. An assload of posts doesn't mean you're special, either (look at Cutthroat or HBK16, for example).
