Washinton is gonna take out Philly. The Skins just match up well with them even though they may be a better overall team. We have great cornerbacks and they have average recievers. We have a linebacking core that can contain McNabb(Arrington did it all by himself last year) Duce Staley is probobaly the most overrated piece of garbage ever, oh wait I forgot about Kordell Stewart. Skins dominated Philly twice last year, except in the second game Tony Banks threw 3 INTS in the red zone.....Matthews just passed for 3 TDs and 327 yards in week 1.......It is gonna be fun....Whoooo....Here are my picks:

For the one team pick, The Rams will definitely beat the Giants

New England really impressed me on MNF, Houston looked good against the Cowgirls, and I think they've got a decent team.

This is going to be a tough week to pick.

Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit (!), New Orleans, Jacksonville, Miami, New England, Baltimore, Tennessee, Arizona, St. Louis, San Francisco, Buffalo, San Diego (MaRTY BaLL~!), Oakland, and Philly in the Monday nighter.

On a side note, the Redskins' stats look really good, but the 'Skins themselves didn't look so great. The Cardinals must've been in the red zone 5 times Sunday, but got WAAAY too cute and settled for field goals. If Arizona could've realized that David Boston is 6'4" - 240 and Fred Smoot is 5'11" - 170, they at LEAST would've been all tied at some point late. I love the Redskins to death, and I'm glad they won Sunday, but the only thing that gives me hope of winning more than 8 games is that Stephen Davis got 32 touches. I wonder, though, what happens if the 'Skins get down by two scores at some point.

Well, to defend the honor of my Eagles: Eagles also have great cornerbacks--Troy Vincent will be returning--, so that negates that. Your LB core is great, but the Eagles have added a bit of a running game, so hopefully that balances that out a bit (not in our favor, but brings down your edge in that department).

Both lines on both teams are suspect. Ours are banged up; I'm not sold on the interior of the Skins' lines. Could be a wash there.

Check out Shane's stats last time he played the Eagles (playoff game vs. Chicago). I don't think he'll be that bad, but I also don't think he'll be as good as he was last week. He'll probably be pretty ordinary.

Steven Davis may be banged up. If he is, Redskins could be severly hampered. He'll play, but may not be 100%.

Intangibles--SS will want to put on a show, but the Eagles haven't lost two games in a row in 2 years. Skins have home field, but Eagles were 7-1 on the road last year. Call it a wash.

I think this game comes down to the kickers, and I'll take David Akers in that matchup. Call it 17-14, Eagles.

For anyone else, feel free to use my view of the game, but please--entertainment purposes only. No wagering. :D

(What's with all the love for San Fran?  They are just a poor man's version of the Rams, and Denver dominated the real thing last week.)

So? That in no way means Denver will do the same to the 49ers this week. The Niners should have a much better game this time around, or so I am hoping.

And how are the 49ers a poor man's version of the Rams?
