Why is MMA lumped with other stuff?

Just before the old crew left this board, we had put in a MMA section. Now it's been lumped in with Indies and other stuff. If you've got a section for NWA TNA (basically an indy with access to PPV) then how can you rationalize throwing a division of fighting with television and PPV coverage into a section of the board with a host of other topics. I'd like to suggest putting Mixed Martial Arts back into it's own section. Thanks...

Justin, the MMA folder became such a ghost town that there would be one, two posts a MONTH, so thats why the change was made. Unless MMA really takes off in the near future, I doubt it'll change.

It's because there was very little participation in the folder when it was around on its own (sometimes, there would only be 1 new post every other week), and the general feeling was that it was just taking up space. There just isn't a lot of interest in MMA among the people visiting the board. And since the Indy folder wasn't faring much better, we decided to merge the two.

 

NWA-TNA has a strong following here, and people asked for a separate folder, so it was bestowed upon them.
