Guest RickyChosyu Report post Posted September 18, 2002 Hey...Nagata had a DAMN fine match with Akiyama against Mutoh and Hase. Mutoh wasn't lazy in that match, either, and Hase is Hase, so anything he does rocks the fucking house. Yeah, and right now, he and Tenzan are in a MEGA-feud (if I remember) and are builiding to the 1/4/03 NJPW Dome Show, the biggest dome show of the year. If they build it right, it might be his best match ever. Hase is decent these days, but neither he nor Mutoh are work horses, even in that match. Akiyama is pretty much "just there", most of the time. That was a good match, but Nagatiyama's match vs. Misawa/Kobashi was better. Plus, the NOAH match was more recent, and showed a rather one-dimensional Nagata who didn't know how to build to his submisions and resorted to lots of kicking to garner heat. Like I said, it's possible he's back to being a top worker, but when 2002 Misawa is showing more fire and cordination than you, it's time to re-think things.
