These are widely considered to be EXTREMELY good, among the best matches in the world ever. 6/3/94 is considered by many to be THE best singles match ever.

These aren't at the level of the former four matches, according to some, although are still very good.

 

Only problem is that, if this is the common Misawa / Kawada history tape and not a different, custom-made, one, is that the first five matches are clipped down considerably, with only the last shown in full. This makes the tape a bit poor in my opinion, as I can't stand clipping, especially of classic matches like these.

I really wouldn't classify 10/92 or 7/93 as being "among the best matches in the world ever." Great matches, but not even close to that statement. 6/94 is indeed the best singles match I've seen and 7/95 is an underrated classic.

Yeah, they don't hold up as well now since the AJ 3 continued to raise the bar to the degree that they did...but for their time those we're great matches, easy MOTYC stuff. 10/92 is especially underated in context.

is the ganso bomb the hanging powerbomb drop onto head thing? i've only heard the name once or twice, and i've forgotten what move it was.

 

6/94 has a tiger driver '91, and INDEED lives up to the hype as being one of the great matches of all time. i was very skeptical before i watched it, though (which was only a couple days ago). i didn't think that there was any way that it could come close to being as good as all the hype i've heard about it, but there it was. i don't know if i'd rate it *****, just because of my hesitation to rate ANYTHING that i've only seen once or twice at that rating. but others give it ***** without hesitation, and i cannot blame them or disagree with them for it.

 

i haven't seen any of the other matches on the list, though, but if that match is shown in full, then that's worth tape price right there.
