Maybe this will lead to a three-way HHH-Jericho-Angle at Wrestlemania. And I want Booker to be a face. As a side note, if you saw his match last night on Heat, the Spin-a-roonie finally made sense, as he used it to pop up into his new finisher, the side kick.

Damn, that was the best woman's match in quite a while.  So far, it's the best match of the show, and that's not just because the other matches were short.

 

Crap, I've already forgotten what matches have happened so far, that's not a good sign.

Well, Molly entertains me, but it is probably more the gimmick I enjoy than the wrestler.  The women's division could fall of the face of the earth, and I doubt I would care.  Why did they bring it back anyway?  They could have just buried it with Chyna.

Man, Arn took a double-hoss sized beating.  Arn's fucking retired, and he still sells better than Taker, Hogan, Hall or Nash.  That was a good old school angle.  Beat up a guys friend to get at him.  It always has worked, always will.  Of course, the guys friend being a non-competitor makes the beating even that much more of a heat getter.

It could get over, if the writers ever came up with decent storylines to use for the female wrestlers, other than "Jazz squashes <insert female wrestler>". I think the Stephanie/Trish feud from last year was kind of over. All they have to do is shave 2 minutes from Stephanie/nWo 20 minute promo to give the women's division some angle time (this doesn't just apply to the women's division).

 

I mean really, people like Stephanie and Austin don't really NEED all that promo time to stay over. They should devote some of that time to the midcarders/women to give the fans a reason to care about them.

 

This is one of my main gripes with the WWF that the roster split will hopefully fix.

Other then the ref blowing the ring bell spot...I thought the match was very good.

I think that ref is Earl Hebner's son. He must have a delayed reaction. Good match with Y2J/Angle. The Kan run-in sucked.

That's it, I officially give up trying to believe that this Mania won't suck.

Well, Angle v. Jericho was a good match.  Angle was feeling with those suplexes.  So crisp, so clean.  And the run-up-the-ropes belly-to-belly of-the-top-rope was swank.  I almost had a heart attack when Angle got the near fall after the belt shot.  That match proves that Angle can wrestle as a face, if not cut face promos.  He's the number two heel, and the fans were pretty into him as the match went on.  The fans were dead at first, but some Angle chants started up, and they popped for the Ankle Lock.  The finish wasn't too bad, at least there was no ref bump.  But Kane couldn't even get full elevation with the military press.
