Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted September 21, 2002 It actually is... almost. College has a lot of advantages, but I still find the NFL more entertaining, barely. When was the last time an NFL crowd stormed the field and ripped down the goalposts? Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge

Guest El Hijo Del Lunatic Report post Posted September 22, 2002 Didn't I say I don't have a team? No, you misunderstood. I mean, sporting events in general. I mean, you've said apparently that the only reason for going to a sporting event is to cheer on your team. So I guess that if you don't have a team, the sport is pointless to you. And you seem to be consistent with that. But say it's a different sport. Say we're talking about the NFL. Say I live about 10 minutes from FedEx field, but my team is the Denver Broncos - which means I'll get to see the Broncos game at Washington every six years. By your logic, I should only go to a Redskins game when they're playing the Broncos, because you've said the only reason to go to a game is to cheer your team on. So I visit FedEx once every six years. Is that right? No I don't say "no" it's usually a lot stronger than that cause if somebody I know offers me a ticket to a college game, he already knows my completely hatred for college football so he's friggin dumbass for offering. How about for another sport? What if it's a baseball or basketball game? Do you go then? LUNATIC - Pimpin' ho's and clockin' a grip like my name was Dolemite. If it was a free college game, no. Even if it's not MY team I still have opinions for teams I like and dis-like. In college I don't have any teams at all. That being said though, I've never done it. I've never been to a non-Nashville team's game.
