KC at NE

Recommended Posts

It's simple.

THROW THE BALL

Over and Over!

some stats for QBs against KC this season:

Brunell, 320yds

Kelly Freaking Holcombe, 326yds

Tom Brady SHOULD get at least 450yds.

It's time for NE to close the books on any doubt. Just go out there and BLOW OUT Kansas City.

They should knock down a few records also.. such as these

56 points - the record (that I know of) for most points scored by them. September 1979.

414yds passing - record held by Tony Eason (to my knowledge), set in 1986

If they feel cocky, they can go for 70. Kansas City can't stop the pass. Just keep throwing it around their crappy cornerbacks.

As for the NE defense: Trent Green throws into double-coverage constantly. Priest Holmes can't score four TDs a game every time and he can be snuffed out. Also, the KC offense is too stupid to realize they should throw to Gonzalez or any of their good recievers.

is Antowain Smith healthy to play in this game? He could put up some big numbers also, if only if the Pats threw to Smith instead of Faulk.

Smith and Bruschi just got a little shaken up, they should be good to go.

Listening to Belichick on WEEI today, it seems he has a good grasp on KC. He compared their system to the Rams, which I can see. Too bad the only real potent weapons the Chiefs have are Holmes, Gonzalez and (maybe) Trent Green.

Vegas has them as 8 1/2 favorites, so looks they they've finally come around.

Brady must have somehow sucked life out of Warner and infused it in him. Damn he spanked my Jets.

Nothing wrong with the Pats giving Faulk some playing time, just adds another weapon for Tom Brady to throw the ball to when he is out there.

Plus, with Kansas City's inability to stop the pass, the Pats can easily burn them with the passing game. Brady has already burned two defense big time with his passing.

If Brady performs the way he has been the past two weeks, it'll be a long day for the Chiefs to say the very least.

Pats should be getting 14 or more. After watching them against the Browns on Week 1, the Chiefs have NO defense to speak of. Can't stop the run, and are even worse on the pass. I see the score being 49-10, Pats.
