Austin & Goldberg starting their own Fed?

Who knows who else would be in it? Perhaps they could lure guys away from Jarrett since there isn't much love lost between him and austin. Perhaps they find a niche working with a foreign company. Austin was the marketing behind 3:16; and he may be able to do it again.

 

As I've said, you build to and around that match. It's the kind of thing that people know is there, and crave for, but with two already established main eventers they don't have to deliver on it. With enough advertising (Which is what hurt Jarrett) they could easily pull it off just using Austin and Goldberg.

It's something that I'd rather see on WWE t.v, and besides, it'll never fly.

I bet it owuld. Those two, throw in Ventura as a figure-head (Meltzer talked about it a few weeks back), some cruisers (Juvi, and if they can get him, Liger, are porbably the two most associable names to the North American market), and build up some guys around them and they'll be fine. I'd actually be looking to get Frye as another guy to get the MMA appeal.

 

Truth be told, UFC at one point before the 'scare' was outdrawing sports entertainment in pay per view without the weekly hype. I'd rather see them or Pride get some decent exposure and a chance to thrive first.

So, since Austin walked out while he was under contract, then Vince should just say he's fired and not allow him to return to the WWE. Hence, this could setup for Austin to decide to start up his own wrestling fed, with or without Goldberg. Vince would be concerned that this fed ran by Austin would be in direct competition with the WWE, that he would sign Austin to another WWE contract.
