Guest BoboBrazil Posted September 17, 2002 Report Posted September 17, 2002 For the second week in a row, Raw rolled in with a 3.4 cable rating, with a 5.4 share, according to Nielsen Media Research. The show did hours 3.5 and 3.4, which means that less people watched hour two than hour one. When the show airs in its normal timeslot, that is never a good thing. 1wrestling.com
Guest BorneAgain Posted September 17, 2002 Report Posted September 17, 2002 You mean all those segments with Triple H didn't bring viewers in?! I'm shocked beyond belief! (end sarcasm mode) but seriously I'm not surprised. The entire show seemed to drop off after the first 45 minutes
Guest cabbageboy Posted September 17, 2002 Report Posted September 17, 2002 Yeah I'd say after the RVD/Jericho match the life just went out of the show. I think there is a buzz about the RVD/HHH match however, more than people think. After the match last night my friend Chris called and was like "it looks good for RVD at the PPV now!"
Guest Human Fly Posted September 17, 2002 Report Posted September 17, 2002 No Rico in the 2nd half of the show = less ratings.
Guest papacita Posted September 17, 2002 Report Posted September 17, 2002 I'm actually surprised it dropped. Aside from the HHH overkill and JEFF HARDY in the ME, I really liked the show this week.
Guest razazteca Posted September 17, 2002 Report Posted September 17, 2002 maybe it was the HLA segments just did not draw as much as expected. you know it would of been alot more entertaining if Molly and some other women wrestlers did the protesting instead of Stephanie and her college friend extras.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 18, 2002 Report Posted September 18, 2002 Im willing to bet that, RAW will hit sub 3.0 ratings before No Mercy next Month at the totally horrible rate they're going now. Bischoff, for all the good that he's done, is starting to ruin RAW, slowly but surely. His antics aren't creating interest, they're creating disgust.
Guest El Psycho Diablo Posted September 18, 2002 Report Posted September 18, 2002 ..and you know who'll get blamed for this? RVD.

Guest Brian Posted September 18, 2002 Report Posted September 18, 2002 Anytime you have a non-wrestling character take part of the spotlight, you're asking for trouble (eventually). No matter who they are or how entertaining they can be.
Guest Si82 Posted September 18, 2002 Report Posted September 18, 2002 ..and you know who'll get blamed for this? RVD. ...or Chris Jericho.
Guest DJ Jeff Posted September 18, 2002 Report Posted September 18, 2002 If Vince sees that the ratings are sliding too much, he'll step in and fire Bischoff. Actually, that probably will happen, since Vince will blame Bischoff for the ratings going downhill.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted September 18, 2002 Report Posted September 18, 2002 The problem is that RAW is the HHH show. He's involved in EVERYTHING. When Hogan was at the top during his first Mega-Run...he wasn't involved in every stupid segment. Austin used to be...but as soon as the Rock and DX got over...he wasn't anymore. The difference was...Hogan and Austin are the 2 biggest draws ever... And HHH is not.
