I hope they get into that in the next episode. He's too interesting of a character to tell you nothing about...but there's only a few Buffy hours left, so not a lot of time.

That's why he should of been brought in a long time ago. Atleast by January, so they could develop his character more.

Since UPN is so obsessed with hyping Platinum(a MEGA series event~!) maybe they should just go ahead and do a Buffy/Platinum crossover.

 

I can see it now. OMWF II. The gang from Platinum takes a vacation to Sunnydale. What they get is a nightmare, as the whole town bursts into hardcore gangsta rap~! Including a very special rap by Andrew and Giles and The First Evil morphing into 2Pac and Biggie.

1)Andrew is GOLD. His history of faith along with his godzilla obsession is making him more and more into a GOD.

 

2)I am iffy on Caleb. I was pretty high on the idea of the Evil Preacher when I read the spoilers and was really looking forward to his introduction. He is just too Country, ya know? I thought he was going to be a dark motherfucker, or like Dolph Lundren in Johnny Neumonic with a cross/knife. He is too small for his offense to be credible, IMO. Though I totally popped like a motherfucker for his knocking Buffy out with a single shot. I mean, I guess he is dark in the perverse sense - the priest who follows evil, but who thinks he is just, and who takes advantage of young girls - but that doesn't really do it for me. That is too subverse, I need something more blatent - like scars or tatoos and a deeper voice and a more obsessive conviction. I can see where Joss is going with it, but it seems as if he is trying too hard to piss on the bible rather. I mean, Cain and Abel? The last supper? Oh jesus...

 

3)Xander getting skullfucked was a lil anti-climatic for me, just too quick. They should have done it in slo-mo or something so we could take it all in.

 

4)Faith and Spike = Ratings. Dear god their conversation was so fucking smooth and dry; like a fucking ping-pong match - almost like a Film Noir. Shit, if I could wish for one gimmick eps...

 

5)Xanders speech ruled house. So did his dream, which we all knew to be a dream but it was rockin nonetheless. Why can't the final fight be Pillows and Nighties? A lil "bitch" here, a lil hair-pull there, a lil innocent tickling, a broken strap, a tear, a youthful indescretion, maybe some feathers...*sigh* *looks off into nothingness*... Damn, I think I pulled something in my leg...

I'm glad they didn't do the eye gouging in slow motion. It was disturbing enough as is.

 

I don't know if Joss is trying to piss on the bible. If he is he's not doing it in a horribly offensive way. I'm a Christian and I wasn't offended by him. He's a bad guy...he says bad things. That's his character.

Well, there are varying degrees of pissing on the bible. There is literally having a character piss on it, there is condemning it, and then there is perverting it.

Even then the character is doing it as "heel tactics" to steal a wrestling phrase so I'm not bothered by it.

 

If they were trying to make it seem like a fun, happy go lucky, pastime I would be upset.

Maybe it was because I was expecting it that I didn't find the eye-gouge shocking. I just thought it was done really quickly, in a blink of an eye, if you will.

I liked the character...although it sucks they wait till the very end to use all the cool ones. They could have tossed us a bone in season 6.

 

Are they going to do anything with The Master, Dru, The Mayor, Adam, and Glory? I hate to think that they were only there for a one shot in the beginning of the season.

 

I wished they would have just poped one of them in some time durring the season before they knew it was the first...Buffy just seems one of them briefly and freaks out.

I'm not a religious person, so that doesn't bother me. Maybe it's a little weird, but I like weird religious stuff like that. Reading a Bentley Little book now that has to do with crazy preachers and stuff like that.

 

I'm by no means an athiest or anything though.
