Well, I now have seasons 1-3 ready to roll.

I fear that we'll never get season 4 since I haven't seen the guy who said he would do it in a long time.

So...if anyone wants in on that one...go nuts.

Also, I was thinking that we need an overview of some kind before we can get the seasons rolling, basically an introduction to explain what we're doing.

Would you like to do that Dames?

I may not have hit page 100...but I did mke the 3000th post!!!!!

And start page 101...which as we all know is far more important since it is the beginning of a whole new group of hundreds and not merely the last page of one. Since there is no page zero.

There *is* no page zero..

I will gladly take up Season 4 if you'll have me. Rewatching it recently has given me a new passion for it in a lot of different directions, and I've been itching to write about it. Pick me, pick me!

Yeah, I would have voulenteered, but I got 15 pages out of the season 1...I would have written a novel if it had been about a 22 episode season.

You're in Edwin.

And Dames...

the theory here is that anyone can write a hole book on what Buffy is all about and what it means and whatever (and in fact they do)...

But what we're doing is giving 7 different fans the chance to put down their own unique opinion in any manner they want to. No format, no common thread other than a true fan retrospective.

So what's the plan for publication? My guess would be that it'd be best to put one season review up every few days, so people don't get swamped with too much info at once. Maybe even weekly, though that might drag it out too long.

Just watching "The Harsh Light of Day," and I can't believe they wasted the song "Lucky" on the Buffy-Parker saga. But damn, is it a good ep.

Sorry, OMWF is bumped back till tomorrow.

I think I'll pop in my unedited copy and watch it tomorrow.

I've had a full, high-res copy of the musical on my computer for over a year now. It ain't movin' till the DVD is out.

I know it's been said, but the commentary w/ Joss, Seth and Marti on "Wild at Heart" is GOLD

Tara's song gave me a whole new respect for her. There's really not a bad song on the episode, I didn't like the Xander/Anya one at first, but it grew on me.

I just watched my tape of it. Unedited and commercial free. Figured I was going to watch it on FX anyway.

I think I've officially seen Once More With Feeling more then any other episode.

"Once More, With Feeling" + "Tabula Rasa" = Incredible little two ep run right there.

I love the soundtrack CD.

I love Tabula Rasa. Spike made that whole episode.

"Randy Giles!? Why didn't you just name me Horny Giles or In Desparate Need of a Shag Giles?"

It's "Desperate for a Shag Giles"...I've been misquoting the whole time :(

Great episode.

Great episode.

And the "I think I'm kinda gay" line separates the casual viewers to the big time fans in only the big timers would get that line.

Nah, anyone who's seen a couple of the season 6 episodes would probably get it. I think more people would wonder "Who's Alexander?"

They would understand the about the her being gay...but would the get the reference to Dopplegangland before Willow had discovered her true self and refering to the Vamp Willow.

Buffy: remember willow, the vampire is nothing like what the real person is.

Angel: Well actually...

Paraphrasing of course, but the shout out to the long time fans (and the "bored now" from later in the season also) are a nice little treat to the super fans that notice them.

wow, never seen Once more, with feeling. Great episode. Tabula Rasa was good, too

"Tabula Rasa" was a great episode, one of my favorites.

I finished watching season 4 in like 4 days, but this is the first time I got on a computer in a LONG time. Season 4 was good, but Adam should of been introduced earlier in the season.

I am going through season 1 again, followed by some episodes in season 2, than all of season 3 through out the summer with my friends when we aren't working.

ok, I realize this thread has basically taken on a life of it's own and I'm kind of afraid to post in it but I have a Buffy question.

I have seen one full episode of Buffy ever. I found it simply by dumb luck a couple Sundays ago, I was flipping channels with the sound off and I came across Buffy and Allyson Hannigan jumping up and down making really weird faces and gesturing wildly. I had to know what the hell that was all about, so I turned up the sound, but there was no sound. I flipped to the next channel, sound, back to Buffy, no sound.

Needless to say I spent the next 20 minutes glued to the TV in awe of possibly the single greatest idea for an episode in the history of TV, as Buffy (silently) battled creepy, floating, well dressed zombies with surgical tools.

Anyway, my question is, this episode obviously had a one time gimmick, and seemed to have nothing to do with the main storyline of the show, other than some lovey-dovey cliffhanger crap that went over my head anyway. So is Buffy really this awesome all the time, or will this be like Puro where I watched Misawa vs. Kawada first, and thought all the other matches were shit in comparison?

damn, that was a long question.
