Guest TUS_02 Posted July 3, 2003 Report Posted July 3, 2003 There probably has to be some actual feeling behind the wish. Halfrek obviously doesn't know or care about Xander, so what she says won't have any effect... either that or there's some rule that Vegence demons can't grant each others wishes.

Well it wouldn't be Halfrek's wish it would be Anya's, but yeah there probably is a rule against vengeance demons granting each other's wishes.
LaParkaYourCar Posted July 4, 2003 Report Posted July 4, 2003 You know what..."Entropy" is an episode that really doesn't get much talk, but is still one awesome episode. The way they go from everything falling apart to Willow and Tara kissing and making up is incredible and the writing is great.
Guest TUS_02 Posted July 4, 2003 Report Posted July 4, 2003 I think Normal Again is also an overlooked episode... It's got a "holy shit, that just COULD be the truth" feel to it. I'm just a huge mark for the original 3 Scoobies and love episodes where they bond... I kinda wish they dragged the mental hospital thing out for 2 or 3 episodes... a good mid-season tease...
Guest fazzle Posted July 4, 2003 Report Posted July 4, 2003 Normal Again is one of the few reasons why I rank season 6 above season 5. While it doesn't have an "it could be real" feel to me, it's still a good alternate universe episode. Have they done a bad alternate universe episode? I don't think they have. (Speaking just about Buffy here. Pylea sucked major ass on Angel.)
Guest Cavi Posted July 4, 2003 Report Posted July 4, 2003 That episode got the heat when it first aired. But then again, what episodes from Season Six, sans just a few, didn't get hated on by the majority? I, myself, thought it was enjoyable. Need stuff like that to break up the regular episodes.
Guest Choken One Posted July 4, 2003 Report Posted July 4, 2003 The show been off for 3 months and yer still going on about the show?
LaParkaYourCar Posted July 4, 2003 Report Posted July 4, 2003 There are still reruns on FX (with Season 7 starting by year's end on FX reruns) Plus DVD's being released. AND MOST OF ALL we have articles we're writing for TSM on each season that we discuss here. So yeah we still have a lot to talk about. Plus the show hasn't been off 3 months. The last episode was in early June I think.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted July 4, 2003 Report Posted July 4, 2003 Also, we're huge nerds who will never let go of the best TV show in ages. BOOYAH.
LaParkaYourCar Posted July 4, 2003 Report Posted July 4, 2003 Speaking of our articles. When is Season 1 going up?
Guest Youth N Asia Posted July 4, 2003 Report Posted July 4, 2003 I thought the last episode was May 20th....anyway, Normal Again, good stuff. Although I liked it a little less then when I saw it last
LaParkaYourCar Posted July 4, 2003 Report Posted July 4, 2003 Yeah you're right it was May 20th, but that's still not 3 months like he said.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted July 4, 2003 Report Posted July 4, 2003 Dames, I think, is going to write an introduction and then I have the first 3 seasons ready in my mailbox. And we still talk about the show because it is the greatest show ever.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted July 4, 2003 Report Posted July 4, 2003 And we still talk about the show because it is the greatest show ever. Damn right. And with FX reruns and DVD boxsets we probably will for a while.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted July 4, 2003 Report Posted July 4, 2003 I kept waiting for her to realize her hair was the same in Normal Again. If the whole series wasn't real then her hair would be like it was in season 1
Guest Cavi Posted July 5, 2003 Report Posted July 5, 2003 One thing in that ep that bugs me is when Buffy tells Will about how she was actually put in an institute after she told her parents about vamps. That makes little sense since when Buffy first tells Joyce about how she is the Slayer in "Becoming Part II", Joyce acts as if she is crazy.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted July 5, 2003 Report Posted July 5, 2003 I kept waiting for her to realize her hair was the same in Normal Again. If the whole series wasn't real then her hair would be like it was in season 1 Well, in Normal Again sense nothing from season 1 to the time in season 6 was real, so why should her hair be any different.
Guest Mole Posted July 5, 2003 Report Posted July 5, 2003 One thing I remember from "Normal Again" was the fact that my girlfriend at the time was freaking out. She actually thought it was true, and I believed was ready to cry. This is the same girl who thought DMX is a good actor, nuff said.

Friggin Mash marathon kept Buffy off of Friday. GRRRR
Guest Mole Posted July 6, 2003 Report Posted July 6, 2003 Umm...is there a release date on season 5 yet?
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted July 6, 2003 Report Posted July 6, 2003 Umm...is there a release date on season 5 yet? Not yet, Mole. I'd expect one soon, though. In the past it seems like the official announcement for the next season has come a month or so after the previous release.
LaParkaYourCar Posted July 6, 2003 Report Posted July 6, 2003 Isn't there usually a card inside the DVD sets that says when the next set is coming out?
Guest TUS_02 Posted July 6, 2003 Report Posted July 6, 2003 It usually says winter, or summer... or some vague date.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted July 6, 2003 Report Posted July 6, 2003 I know that what happened was real. It's like the little girl that didn't age in A Beautiful Mind.
LaParkaYourCar Posted July 6, 2003 Report Posted July 6, 2003 I kept waiting for her to realize her hair was the same in Normal Again. If the whole series wasn't real then her hair would be like it was in season 1 Well, in Normal Again sense nothing from season 1 to the time in season 6 was real, so why should her hair be any different. I think he was saying that her haircut was the same when she was in the institution as it was when she was in Sunnydale during "Normal Again" since they filmed everything at once. If they could make Willow have Season 1 hair in "Restless" then why couldn't they make Buffy have Season 1 hair in "Normal Again"?
Guest Ripper Posted July 7, 2003 Report Posted July 7, 2003 I'm still mad that they never went ANYWHERE with the Spike/Halfrek thing. That would have made a good show in its own right. But no, all we got was "Don't I know you from somewhere." And thats it. DAMMIT
LaParkaYourCar Posted July 7, 2003 Report Posted July 7, 2003 You'd think someone would start to get suspicious with all the bodies that have to be picked up from Buffy's house. Joyce, Tara, and The ambulance had to pick up Buffy when she was shot.
