I think it is a DVD-R, hopefully straight off of UPN not from the computer.

I paid $50 for it, and the guy said it was good quality.

My DVD player does play DVD-Rs, which is weird because it is pretty old. The motor is starting to die though, if fucks up a lot of the times. I've only had it for 2 years, but it was cheap.

Those are the images he sent me that the DVD looks like. I hope it is, because they are pretty good quality.

Yeah, I would hope it's a DVD-R too. If he did get them off UPN and recorded them at a decent speed (hopefully either on a TiVo or in SP mode on a VHS), you might have really lucked out.

Amusing note: I'm watching Eraser on VH1, and who is one of the agents that guides Vanessa Williams through burning some CD of important evil information? None other than Mr. Trick!

Well he said it was a DVD, so if it's a CD, then I will send it back and get my money back. He has good reviews at Ebay, so I'll take his word for it.

He is sending it out on Monday, so I should get it by atleast Friday.

I will also get season 4 on DVD on June 10, so I will only need 2 more to finish my collection.

I'd just rather wait and pay my money for the official release, with it's good quality and whatnot.

I will buy season 7 when it comes out, but I don't want to wait until 2005.

I have them all on tape as it is. I can watch any time. Plus by the time 7's out I'll likely be ready to do the marathon thing.

I wasn't smart like you, I didn't record every episode.

I also bought it becasue my friend Christine was in England for second semester, so she didn't get to see the show. I work with her at a camp during the summer, so we can watch season 7 while she is there.

Although I know when season 6 comes out I'll run to my DVD player to watch Once More with Feeling in picture perfect quality

I actually downloaded a REALLY good quality of it on Kazaa, one of the best things I've downloaded.

Okay, this is straight from AICN, but it's some major freaking news for Spike fans.

IF it is true. It may or may not be.

If it is, though.....I like it. A lot.

Check this out: News on Spike on Angel!

I can't think of this off the top of my head, but what episode was it that Angel tells Buffy he is leaving Sunnydale?

Guest Mole

Fuck that, I don't want to be spoiled!! Thanks though Vyce.

Yeah, and then he came back to dance with her anyway. How gentlemanly.

Also, now that it seems a lot of Angel spoilers are coming through...we should make a strong effort to use the tags and be really careful about checking out stories before we post links. James Marsters being on the show doesn't really count because even the WB website is already making a big deal out of it, but I think most other stuff would be fair game for the tags.

I was a little bored tonight, so I popped in my S2 DVDs and watching "Becoming" parts I and II.

I think that "Becoming," even after 5 more seasons, is still the best two-part finale the show's had. All the season finales have been pretty damn good, but none of the penultimate eps have been as great as "Becoming Part I." I'm considering "The Yoko Factor"/"Primeval" to be Season 4's finale in that sense, since "Restless" was outside the end-the-arc realm.

I also really love the occasional voice-overs. Angel's in "Passion" and Whistler's in "Becoming Part I" are some of the classiest things the show's ever done.

"Becoming Pt 1 and 2" are defiently the best season finales. Nothing can touch them, especially the ending.

Well, I was going to do it off of memory but I decided to watch each show again in season one and review it then condense the whole thing...so it will take a little longer.

It is really hard to do it off the top of your head. I just finished season 3, and it took me a good 4-5 hours. I had to go back to review a few episodes for quotes, and used buffyguide.com for a reminder of each episoes synopsis.

I wish they would have used Whistler more. He could have been a good character to just pop up now and again.

The old rumor--not sure if there's any merit to it--was that Whistler was supposed to fulfill Doyle's function on Angel, but that Max Perlich was interested in the offer.

It is too bad, though. He's not really like any other character that's ever been on the show.

I wish Doyle would have stayed around longer, great charcter.

Probably cause they wanted Cordy to serve a bigger role. Plus with Gunn and Wesley...cast would've been a little big.

Guest Mole

Gunn was introduced in season 1, as the kid who lead to kill vampires, right?

Then the actor died recently, unfortunately.

And if those spoilers are true, that would so rule.

Whistler ruled.

But I am iffy on the Angel Spoiler.

Guest Mole

I caved in a read those spoilers, if they are true, it would rule.

But I doubt they are...
