Guest African American Posted September 22, 2002 Report Posted September 22, 2002 I just want to know whether the WWE.com webcast where u pay 25 dollars to watch the ppv over the internet is being offered this month. I'm away at college now and cable here doesnt allow us to order ppv's. If there is a webcast of it at wwe.com or anywhere else can one of you post the link here. Thanks
Guest Eagan469 Posted September 22, 2002 Report Posted September 22, 2002 not this month, no If there are any good matches, you'll be able to find them on KaZaA and other sites in the next few days.
LaParkaYourCar Posted September 22, 2002 Report Posted September 22, 2002 They've discontinued PPV Webcasts until November because they are tweaking the system.
Guest African American Posted September 22, 2002 Report Posted September 22, 2002 dammit.. guess i'll juss play gta 3 or mafia and then follow the comments made here..
Guest The Czech Republic Posted September 22, 2002 Report Posted September 22, 2002 There's a pay-per-view?
Guest DJ Jeff Posted September 22, 2002 Report Posted September 22, 2002 Just go to Rajah's and read the play-by-play results. That's what I'll be doing.

Guest Eagan469 Posted September 22, 2002 Report Posted September 22, 2002 whats the picture quality of the web casts like? bearingin mind i have a 56k modem? ChUnK! 300k - same as all the archived videos on WWE.com
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted September 22, 2002 Report Posted September 22, 2002 If you're on dial-up, NO webcast looks good. And certainly none is worth $25.
Guest DJ Jeff Posted September 22, 2002 Report Posted September 22, 2002 If you have a 56K modem, the picture should be about the same, but it might be a bit slow.
Chunk Posted September 22, 2002 Report Posted September 22, 2002 how much do tv ppv's cost in america and canada then? they usually sting us brits for abotu £12-£14 pounds ChUnK!
LaParkaYourCar Posted September 22, 2002 Report Posted September 22, 2002 I thought they got the PPV's for free in England?
Guest DJ Jeff Posted September 22, 2002 Report Posted September 22, 2002 PPVs in Canada cost $29.99, which is the main reason I'm not ordering Unforgiven. It's probably going to be a waste of my money, and I'd rather save that $29.99 for the Survivor Series.
Chunk Posted September 22, 2002 Report Posted September 22, 2002 some we get for free, but recently weve been having to pay for some. I think every third ppv, we habe to pay for. I know it doesnt sound a lot, but i already have to pay £30+ per month just to get access to the full Sky TV service. Then they charge £12-£14 extra for some of the ppv's. Its a joke, especially as we used to get them all for free! ChUnK!

The only good from that, is that if sky ever pulled out for any reason, we should still get wrestling from channel 4 (as im sure they would buy it at a cheaper price if sky wanted to sell). ChUnK!
Guest African American Posted September 23, 2002 Report Posted September 23, 2002 Where I live (New Jersey) the PPVs cost 35 on cable, and 25 for the webcast thing. The quality of the video isnt really, but it's better than nothing especially with my school's T-3 connection.
