Taylorjt4: I know I have all of the Hurricane skits and matches. Besides one RAW and SmackDown I didn't tape last year (Monday, October 29, 2001 and Thursday, November 8, 2001), I have all the RAWs/SDowns/Heats from 2001 and 2002. The only thing is that I currently don't have my videos labeled and don't have the equipment needed to create a compilation video, but when I do get the equipment (probably around late December of this year), I would gladly create the video for you of any and all the skits and matches of Hurricane Helms that you want. Even though I can't make the video now, I thought I would post and let you know I am able to in the future.

Hey Taylorjt4. I'll definitely keep you updated on it. My friend has the equipment needed to make compilation tapes, its just that I don't have any of my 2001 and 2002 video's labeled with dates and it's gonna take a long time to get them all labeled and match-listed. As for how much it would cost, if I make compilation videos or just copy shows for people, I'd rather do it to help people out than do it to make money, so I would think I could send it to you by Priority Mail and just ask you to pay $5 maximum to cover shipping charges. Three questions for you:

 

1. Would you like a tape of all Hurricane's skits and matches or just the best ones?

 

2. Do you want to pick the matches and skits you want to have on the tape or would you like me to? (I figure you would want to since I would be making if for you, but just wanna ask)

 

3. Just out of curiousity, what state do you live in?

 

Just to let you know, I'm missing 1 of his matches from that RAW that I don't have...it was a mixed tag match between Hurricane and Molly vs. Tajiri and Torrie Wilson (I can't recall if he had a match on the Smackdown show that I'm missing)...I also have all the Velocity shows on tape besides the 1st one (which I don't think Hurricane had a match on). I also just remembered that I have the Hurricane's segments from the WWF Excess show that he was a guest on.

The good news (for me anyway) is that ive just got a new VCR, that i think supports NTSC format! YAY!!!

 

So could you also keep me up to date with the creation of the tape! I would be interested in buying it from you! But i live in the UK, so could you check out how much shipping would be for you to send it to me!

Sorry though, I don't have anything prior to 2001 when Shane was in 3-Count with Evan Karagious and Shannon Moore.

On a side note, I met Shane about 3 months ago at an indy show in Carolina. Im good friends with a promoter who was down there ring announcing and Shane came back stage just to hang out for a while. It was very cool.

Taylorjt4: Hey again. That's very cool that you met Shane at an indy show. Was it the Carolina Wrestling Federation or a different one? I have a few friends who work for that promotion in NC and who know Shane. I've heard he is a really great guy, but have never met him myself, although I would love to. The reason I asked what state you live in is because I was curious to how far away you were from where I live and how long it would take to send you videos...I live in New Jersey, so it shouldn't take that long at all (although, that's after I finally get to create them, lol).

Just to update you, I actually did get a connection set up to copy tapes in the beginning of December and have already copied a couple and made a non-wrestling compilation video. It's going to take a long time to put dates and write out match and segment listings for all my 2001 and 2002 videos that I have Shane Helms/Hurricane in, along with actually creating the compilation video(s), which I'm sure will take a while too.

 

When I do finally have all my video's for 2001 and 2002 finished, I will post an update or PM you and ChUnk, letting you know. I am going to start labeling my tapes with dates for 2003, so that it will be much easier to put the newer matches of Hurricane on the compilation video once I get around to labeling the 2001 and 2002 television tapes.
