Faulk is hurt...

Warner has 1 TD/7 INT

and they look terrible.

So...how many games does this team lose? And do they still make the playoffs?

Last year the Pats started something that not many people picked up on...whenever they beat a team, that team lostr the next week almost every time.

Now. the effect is amplified after the Superbowl loss, so that the Rams will have a REAL tough year...Go Pats!

I predict 6 game losing streak but the Rookie replacement looked good, I wonder if he will do the same as Trung did last year 6 TDs then dissappear back to being bench warmer.

Bucs Defense is best in the league!!!

7-9 and no they won't make the playoffs. Martz should be fired after this year, as most of the problems are his fault.

They'll go 0-5 or 0-6 before they start to turn it around. By then it'll be too late and they'll end up with at least 8 losses for the year.

I must thank the Rams for handing the 49ers the division title.

I see a 6-10 season, as St. Louis is brought down to Earth again, and reminded that their name is indeed the Rams name that was a joke for oh-so-long.

When I watch them play...I see a 6-10 team on the field at best.

But I figure they'll manage 7 or 8...and no playoffs.

The Rams are just like Pittsburgh. They've fallen apart and are still getting hyped to hell. All I hear about is how Pittsburgh is going to destroy Cleveland but honestly Pittsburgh has shown me no reason to believe that. Especially after the Titans game.

In the same way I don't see how the Rams are going to win their 2 games against the 49ers. The 9ers still beat an overhyped Washington team and racked up over 200 yrds rushing with half the team sick.

In a division featuring the Cards and Seahawks, it's not impossible to make the playoffs...

They play Dallas next week, at home. If they lose that game, the 3 Year Rams Bandwagon will officially be empty.

Rams Fans (In Unison, a la The Waterboy)

"Oh no! We suck again!"

Technically, the Rams have lost their last 8 games (Super Bowl, 4 Preseason Games, 3 Regular Season Games) While most people said the preseason games didn't mean squat, a team that goes 0-4 in the Preseason obviously has some sort of problem, and everyone was just to glazed over to see that.

Woah, I didn't think of that -- Christ, the BENGALS have a better record during that span (minus the Super Bowl, of course)...

Oh it's so glorious. The rams will slide back into the sewers from whence they came.

Without those stupid Rams, the Bears can finally win the Super Bowl again. I hope we get a repeat of the '85 season. Only problem is New England has a non-retarded logo now.

I think the Rams will still win the NFC West. It's just a matter of time before Warner finds his rhythm. Remember that the NFC West sucks even more now, and if they beat the Niners in 2 weeks, they're just 1 game back of them.

I dont think a .500 or better season is at all ruled out. I think they have a shot at the division, but I think the Niner's will end up winning it.

5 or 6 games and they will go to the playoffs. I'm not a Rams fan so that was totally unbiased.

I'll say 10-6, a wildcard spot, and a loss to the Saints in the 1st round.

I called them a playoff team at the start of the season, so I have to stand by that now. Sure, they look like SHIT right now (and worse, they look like shit that's not trying to be anything better than shit), but it's still early enough in the season for them to recover. If the Rams get it going on all cylinders, they're very hard to beat.

The problem is, New England gave everyone in the league an object lesson in how to beat them, and it's not like the Pats had exceptional personnel on defense. The Rams definitely have their work cut out for them. The stubborn prognoticator in me says they'll recover and limp into the playoffs. The realist in me says stick a fork in them and start the vigil

for Mike Martz landing in the unemployment line.
