Guest Brian Report post Posted September 26, 2002 If you want either of those two to fail in their reigns, go ahead and put it on them a month into their turns.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted September 26, 2002 Eddy Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio Edge vs. Matt Hardy That's a pretty big step down for both Eddy and Edge. Don't get me wrong, Eddy/Rey would rock and all, but Eddy is FAR above the Cruiserweight Division and what possible reason could anybody say to explain Matt going from Hurricane to the second most over person on Smackdown? Guest nikowwf Report post Posted September 26, 2002 Rey fought Angle, and the sky didn't fall so I thought he could fight Eddy. I was also trying to base it on house show matches as an indicator. When i made this match, if left Edge as odd man out and I was afraid Anglesault would hunt me down if I put him in the Ange/Benoit match so I have him Matt. Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted September 26, 2002 Understandable. More than likely, the Eddy/Edge feud will finally be blown off at No Mercy, IMO. Kinda sucks too since their feud was one of the main reasons I still watch Smackdown.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted September 26, 2002 here's what I see: (oh yeah, I see the future. In dreams. It's very complicated.) somewhat disputed championship: Brock vs. Taker (Lame no DQ Main Event "brawl" rules apply) Deus Ex Machina Title: HHH vs. Bubba (If arm is working) or RVD (if not) Completly Dependent on Bubba's Arm match: Flair vs. RVD Edge vs. Eddie: ~GIMMICK~ Hurricane Helms and Citizen Kane vs. Christian/Lance: Tag Titles Benoit vs. Angle II: This Time, It's Personal. BookerDust vs. Fat Samoans Trish vs. that new girl: Stand in line for beer and a hot dog championship match. Rey vs. Knoble: Opener/Heat (oh yeah, cruiser title) Some random combination of Rikishi, Billy and Chuck, Rico, and other crappy jobbers in a "Dear God, please strike me down in this very spot" match. RAW's Intercontinental Champion, Chris Jericho, will be hosting No Mercy this Sunday at the World. King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2002 Well the No Mercy card being posted would be the obvious one, but in an ideal world, we'd get a better card...something like... Guest Brian Report post Posted September 26, 2002 Maybe they'll do Tajiri vs. Knoble. They could get that Ohtaniu/Tajiri vibe going, as that was a good match when Tajiri wasn't that good.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted September 26, 2002 Angle vs Benoit 2 out of three falls? Wow, they've never done THAT match three times before on PPV when they refused to do anything worthwhile with them (I'll let Mania 2K slide, though)
