Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 HHH, though if I could fire only one person, it would be Stephanie McMahon.
Guest Brian Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 This is tough. Well, if I was in the position to fire one of them, it'd be Triple H. Triple H has way too much pull, or oppotunity for those optimists. Triple H would set an example, and would probably pave the way for an Austin return. Taker is worthless. He didn't sell for the champ, he beat him two times during the match, bumped the ref three times, sand-bagged, and slaughtered him up post match. Just humiliate Taker, force him out. You couldn't do that with Triple H, but you could at least force taker to job and whatever else.
Guest El Psycho Diablo Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 I don't like Lesnar (despise him, yeah)..but the champion shouldn't look like a pathetic old man's bitch. That just devalues the belt. Lesnar I could care less about..but the belt itself I do.
Guest Anglesault Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 Taker is worthless. He didn't sell for the champ, he beat him two times during the match, bumped the ref three times, sand-bagged, and slaughtered him up post match. Eh, life goes on.
Guest Brian Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 How would you react if he did that to Angle back in 2000, first month into his reign?
Guest Angle-plex Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 Taker is worthless. He didn't sell for the champ, he beat him two times during the match, bumped the ref three times, sand-bagged, and slaughtered him up post match. Eh, life goes on. Remember when he did that to Angle? We can't risk him doing that again to someone who is actually talented.
Guest Anglesault Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 The reign where Angle earned the belt instead of being right place/right time/right look?
Guest Anglesault Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 We can't risk him doing that again to someone who is actually talented. Which is why I don't mind him doing it to Brock.
Guest Brian Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 But the point is, that he is the champion, and was made to look like outright shit. Throw your opinion for Brock aside and still tell me that Taker did the right thing. Even put anyone else in that same situation, and tell me that what Taker did was right.
Guest Angle-plex Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 We can't risk him doing that again to someone who is actually talented. Which is why I don't mind him doing it to Brock. I don't think Brock is anything special, but you shouldn't say that Taker burying Brock is fine, and then say that Taker burying Angle isn't.
Guest Rob Edwards Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 HHH cos he has way too much influence and influences more than just his match (taker can only no sell one match per card)
Guest Anglesault Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 But the point is, that he is the champion, If you refuse to acknowledge that the man is champ, it makes the whole situation much better. Throw your opinion for Brock aside and still tell me that Taker did the right thing. Even put anyone else in that same situation, and tell me that what Taker did was right. It gives us a rematch at No Mercy that doesn't involve Angle/eddy/benoit being sacrificed for TUW. I don't think Brock is anything special, but you shouldn't say that Taker burying Brock is fine, and then say that Taker burying Angle isn't. Angle has use. Brock has none. I'll say it.
Guest Angle-plex Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 Angle has use. Brock has none. I'll say it. But whether he has talent or not, Brock should be given the same chance as anyone else to look credible. Then, if he doesn't get over, get the belt off of him and give it to someone else.
Guest Anglesault Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 Angle has use. Brock has none. I'll say it. But whether he has talent or not, Brock should be given the same chance as anyone else to look credible. NO! Brock, who is absolutely useless, shouldn't get the same chance that Chris Benoit, who busts his ass, should.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 To whoever said there arn't any good workers on RAW: What about Lance Storm and Hurricane?

But whether he has talent or not, Brock should be given the same chance as anyone else to look credible. Then, if he doesn't get over, get the belt off of him and give it to someone else. Couldn't agree more, AP. I find it insanely hypocritical when some people blast Taker for not selling for guys like Angle, but when he does it to Brock, who is the WWE CHAMPION, it's like, "Eh, I didn't mind it at all." That opinion is so much bullshit because it just further damages both the champion and the belt which means it gets that much more meaningless before any of the net favorites win it. I'm not exactly a Brock fan, but he doesn't deserve to be fucked over by politics no matter WHAT you think of him.

Brock, who is absolutely useless, shouldn't get the same chance that Chris Benoit, who busts his ass, should. I think we all agree putting the belt on Brock was a mistake. WWE can't go back in time and change the results of a match (except for Triple H, of course). Brock, IMO, is worthless. But WWE has already gave him the belt. The least they can do now is make him look semi-credible. I'm worried about the belt's credibility, not Brock's.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 To whoever said there arn't any good workers on RAW: What about Lance Storm and Hurricane? Both of them are mediocre at best.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 No that's bullshit. Lance is excellent, and Hurricane is above-avergae and has a fun in-ring style to compensate.
Guest Brian Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 Jericho's the best worker on RAW when he wants to be. Hurricane, sometimes you see it and sometimes you don't, and the gimmick is really hindering him. Lance Storm...blah. The guy can't even throw a punch or make any of his moves look the least bit snug, his use of psychology is decent at best and the few instances where he's looked competent as a worker for a period have times have been on the BUTT end of a carry job in WAR.
Guest Trivia247 Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 Brock Could have look Credible for Months before even grabbing the World title. They shot him up to World Title holding in a handful of Months, Half the time that Angle did. and they pushed him like that. The Credibility suppose to be Instant for some new guy. All I ever heard of Brock from OVW was his amazing Shooting star he could do to a opponent laying halfway across the ring. That was the only thing Impressive and they haven't let him do it. So Now they gave him a Goldberg push with no redeaming qualities, and because he is Facing the Undertaker he must fall like a Lamb to him. If it was Benoit, or Angle, or anyone else for that matter you all wouldn't ralley to Burn them in effigy if they decided not to give the New Fish the right to Bump them around like a Pinball.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 Lance's offense sucks ass. He may bump well enough, but as a complete wrestler he is overrated like his tag partner is.
Guest ISportsFan Posted September 30, 2002 Report Posted September 30, 2002 Lance's offense sucks ass. He may bump well enough, but as a complete wrestler he is overrated like his tag partner is. I agree, at least in part. I think they were much better before the Un-Americans angle. Since then, they've only relied on cheap heat and use tons of restholds. They've (Storm/Christian) become very lazy since the angle started. Jason
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted September 30, 2002 Report Posted September 30, 2002 Yes we would be pissed Trivia if it were Angle and Benoit. Why? They are talented and they have a use. Taker has NO redeeming qualities. He has no use. He's a horrible wrestler. HE IS NOTHING.
