Top ten grossing movies of the week

What argument? What's moot?

My only point was that JLH sucks as an actress. She gets by on her looks and hasn't done a project with any redeeming value EVER. She's part of a generation of actresses who are famous more for their bodies than any actual talent (I'm looking at you, Shannon Elizabeth, Jessica Alba, etc).

Reese Witherspoon deserves the number one spot seeing as how she can act circles around an "actress" like JLH. You can check ANY of Reese's work for proof of that. If I had to show someone an example of JLH's "work", I'd be hard-pressed to show them ANYTHING. If her Audrey Hepburn biopic was so good then why did it get shelved? Because the studio realized how attrocious her "acting" was and rather than tarnish the legacy of someone as talented as the real Audrey Hepburn they tossed it. They were embarrassed by it and HER.

If JLH experienced ANY success in the box office it was never because she was billed as the sole lead. "I Know What You Did Last Summer" succeeded because it came out when teen slashers were hot. SCREAM paved the way for that. It had nothing to do with JLH. "Heartbreakers", which didn't do great, had Gene Hackman and Sigourney Weaver. Can't Hardly Wait, despite it being one of Dames' personal favorites, didn't do that well at all.

I never blamed the Tuxedo's failures on JLH, but she certainly didn't help it. Having a good co-star that people WANT to see can do wonders. Hence, the RUSH HOUR movies made millions and the Tuxedo bombs. JLH is partially to blame. Put Jackie with almost anyone else and I guarantee the Tuxedo would've put up better numbers.

In summation, JLH = overrated ass and anyone who is a "fan" of hers for any reason other than her looks prolly needs some counseling of some sort. Or at least a film appreciation class or two.
