Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted October 1, 2002 Ravens are winning 31 - 3 at the Half, but I can now honestly say I saw the longest play in NFL History, a 107 or 108 Blocked FG returned for a TD. I couldn't believe it! This is awesome!
Guest Bosstones Fan Report post Posted October 1, 2002 Agreed. This whole game, including the blocked punt, Todd Heap's AWESOME catch near the goal line, and the field goal return make for one entertaining half of football. As an added bonus (for me anyway), with a Ravens victory, yours truly will be crowned king of the office pool this week and walk away with a cool $70. Sweet! Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted October 1, 2002 Im ashamed to say that I didnt think the Ravens could win this game. The amazing thing is this looks like how they won back in 2000, sort of. The Defense has been super spectacular, and Redman has been Dilferesque in his ability to get the ball to Heap for the big plays, and Jamal Lewis is in there running the ball effectively. Guest Bricks Report post Posted October 1, 2002 *slaps self* Once Elam missed the field goal I changed the channel thinking it was over. I turn back and the score is 31-3. Thank God for replays.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted October 1, 2002 I dont think the Ravens can blow this game, its 34-16 right now, so thats 18 pts, or 3 scores. I would like to see them score again here so I can go watch RAW.
Guest Leena Report post Posted October 1, 2002 The Ravens are playing ok, but wow is Denver playing like shit. Mistake after mistake, and they freaking gave Baltimore all 80 yards with penalties on that one drive. I have to disagree that the Ravens defense is looking that strong. Denver's running pretty well, and have thrown well except for when Griese throws the dumbest passes. I will say Heap looks impressive, and I forgot how dominating Jamal Lewis can be, but Denver did hand them this game.
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 1, 2002 Jamal Lewis is a Tennessee alum, did you people expect any less? Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Leena Report post Posted October 1, 2002 Travis Henry, the fumble machine, is also Tennessee alum.
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 1, 2002 You wait, he won't be like that for long. Tennessee discipline always sticks with someone, even if it goes into remission sometimes. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge

Guest DrTom Report post Posted October 1, 2002 It's over, with the final of 34-23 Ravens. Y'know, I figured they'd show up to play, but (had I gotten my picks in on time) I didn't think they were going to win. Denver certainly played like shit at times, but the Ravens did capitalize on the Broncos' mistakes, and Rockin' Ray Lewis was all over the field. Maybe this will give the Ravens some momentum and a little bit of belief in themselves as a team. They still have to play a second-place schedule, with a team that's not as good as last year's Grbac-led abortion.
Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2002 This game didn't help very much in Fantasy Football, nor did it help at all in Pick'Em as I now have 9 incorrect picks this week. It was not a bad football game at all. Heap looked great in the first half, that guy could become Redman's favorite target before too long, well, that's what I think. My Game Ball for this one goes to Ray Lewis, he had a monster game out there.
Guest Redhawk Report post Posted October 1, 2002 As a Browns fan, I hate the Ravens. But I hate the Broncos even more, so I was pulling for Baltimore. Anyway, Ray Lewis' block on the 108-yard play was SICK
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted October 1, 2002 Definitely. He MURDERED him...oh wait.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Report post Posted October 1, 2002 I didn't get to watch the game last night, but if you don't like Ray Lewis, you aren't a football fan.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted October 1, 2002 This game won't affect the season. Ravens will still be a bottom dwelling rebuilding team and Denver will still be a good team that has good chance of making the playoffs. Denver's defense has always been capable of giving up big plays and having bad games the last few years. Still that game surprised the shit out of me.
