Guest Human Fly Report post Posted October 1, 2002 Got these from Lords Of Pain: ***DARK MATCH*** Lil Guido vs Johnny Stamboli Stamboli got the pin with a top rope legdrop. ***SUNDAY NIGHT HEAT*** (airdate October 6) Lita and Jonathan Coachman are the announcers. Jacqueline vs Molly Jacqueline got the pin with a tornado ddt. Spike Dudley vs Justin Credible Spike got the pin with the dudley dog. Steven Richards vs The Hurricane Richards got the pin with a rollup and his feet on the ropes. Dlo Brown vs Raven Raven got the pin with the raven-effect. I hope they bring Guido onto Smackdown fulltime. He could be really good in the CW division. Nice to see WWE doing something productive with D-Lo. They put Lita as announcer of Heat so D-Lo can stay on Heat and job? They should've just left him as announcer. Or put Raven back since he's stuck on that show. I'm surprised they had Hurricane job. Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted October 1, 2002 I mark for Guido!!! Heat is just boring now...they seem to have the same couple guys every week doing the same couple matches...it's just background noise for me
Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2002 Guido v. Johnny FBI v. Mamalukes Who are the real Italians?!?!

EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2002 PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put Little Guido ON SmackDown! NOW! He's a poor man's Italian Malenko!!!!!
Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted October 1, 2002 Guido is a talented wrestler but I don't know about Poor man's Malenko.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted October 1, 2002 Ugh...Guido. Please no. Anyways.....yeah......RAW went down the crapper to join Heat.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted October 1, 2002 Now MD, Guido is talented. I wasn't a big fan of his matches with Super Crazy like many were but I've seen some stuff that is quite impressive.
EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2002 What I meant by a poor man's Malenko is that since he's gone, he can bring technicality to the Cruiserweight division.
Guest Brian Report post Posted October 1, 2002 We have Jaime BY GAWD Knoble for that. He's fucking Mini-Benoit.
Guest BlackRainbow1025 Report post Posted October 1, 2002 Well, if they are serious about the tag division, and I can't see them ever pushing Guido or Stamboli as singles wrestlers......team 'em up. Basically a newer FBI. I don't think that'd be too bad.
Guest Mad Dog Report post Posted October 1, 2002 Well I'll be watching Heat muted from now on.
Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted October 1, 2002 I'm more interested in this: Steven Richards vs The Hurricane Richards got the pin with a rollup and his feet on the ropes. Wow, that was such a great decision putting the titles on 'Cane and Kane. At least let Helms win a friggin' Heat match!
Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted October 1, 2002 Heat matches look better than anything on Raw.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted October 1, 2002 So, let me get this correct: --Lita on commentary --Booker jobs in his home town, yet Jacqueline goes over Molly --Helms jobbing to Stevie ::shakes head & sighs::
EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2002 If Knoble=Benoit, then Guido=Malenko, dood. C'mon...oh, and I LOVE the REDNECK MESSIAH~! He rocks my fuckin world, man.
Guest Goodear Report post Posted October 1, 2002 Guido doesn't have the technical expertise that Malenko did, not by a long shot. But I will say Guido knows how to use the moves he does have (Fujiwara armbar, Kiss of Death) and draw crowd reactions. Which is what WWE commonly looks for in its employees so Guido has a shot at a contract.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted October 1, 2002 Knoble would have some great technical matches, too bad he's on skit duty with the "highly trained" Nidia. and besides, Guido fucking rocks. Too bad his finisher and all armbar variations would be immediatly banned upon entry into WWE. Plus, he couldn't ride around on Big Sal's shoulders.

Guest buffybeast Report post Posted October 1, 2002 Ugh, WWF already has one undersized wrestler in Spike. Why bring in another, even if he is good?
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted October 1, 2002 I have to admit, most gimmick posters give up after a couple weeks, but you've been here for who knows how long. good job, buffy!
Guest Goodear Report post Posted October 1, 2002 Ugh, WWF already has one undersized wrestler in Spike. Why bring in another, even if he is good? Because Guido and Spike (and Mysterio, who is about as big as Kurt Angle's leg) all wrestle in completely different styles. So why they might be similar in height, they bring far different aspects to the dance.
Guest buffybeast Report post Posted October 1, 2002 I have to admit, most gimmick posters give up after a couple weeks, but you've been here for who knows how long. good job, buffy! I am not a gimmick poster. What is a gimmick poster anyways? Goodear, you make an excellent point. But do you really think Guido will be successfully packaged and promoted by WWF? And do you think his gimmick as an angry midget Italian will get over with the fans?
