Hopefully, this is only a drawn out storyline where Vince will come and *think* Bischoff is trying to destroy the WWE from within.

 

Vince brings back the titles and we get Vince Vs Bischoff for a while. The way it should be, Not Steph Vs Bischoff.

your idea seems to be a common one as there is a strong belief this would all culminate maybe around episode 500.

 

If you see the Raw girls... (and did we already see this during the Union Underground performance?).

If you see a match happen during the commercials of CSI to keep you watching...

If you see a belt treated like a joke and just given to someo{woops scratch this one}

Can't they just de-unify the World Heavyweight Title later on if they need to? I mean, the European Title and Hardcore Title have both been retired and then been reactivated, and the Euro-Continental Title was broken up. Why couldn't HHH (or Kane, as the case may be) award his buddy Ric Flair (or Hurricane, as the case may be) the US Title? I mean, it's not like there's a rule against it. If I was the writers, I would have had Eric explain that HHH's World Title is the former WCW Title de-unified from the WWE Title, which would at least give it some prestige and history.

First - the IC title lost most of it's meaning when they changed the physical appearance of it and when they brought in the Euro title. Then it lost all meaning when Chyna won it a couple of times. Not Benoit, Not Angle, Not White Tights Val Venis could give that belt meaning. So really, in terms of "the Ic titles history" - let's just remember it's just that - history. It's not like JR pimps the "good ole classic IC title matches like Bret Hart and Mr Perfect bah gawd".

 

Second - why not move the title to Smackdown? Because it's obvious that 98% of the guys there will never get a chance to wear the big belt - so why not give them something to fight for?

It had credibility when it was between Jericho, Benoit, Eddie, and Angle; but when they start using it as a vehicle for Edge/Christian, gving it to Regal for nothing (and I heart the guy), and the general disolution of the mid-card and potential challengers, that's when it lost what foothold the musketeers had given it.

I think Benoit, Jericho and Angle fighting for it helped restore some of the legitmancy and up until Summerslam I was really getting into the IC Title again.

The political power of HHH and the Hoss power of Kane will cancel each other out and it'll end in a draw and both titles will either remain or both titles will be eliminated, and the black hole in which all titles have been going will drag the Womens title with it, leaving only the tag titles. Then Raw will be one big Tag Torunament for some vague prize ending with Raven and Stevie vs. The Island Boyz in a thanksgiving turkey match

No. Angle/Benoit/Jericho did not do anything for the IC title. Their WM match featured both the European and IC title - the distinction (or lack thereof) between the two divisions is what really killed the title.

but if they are,

i say the title should go to chris jericho, he is the only reason i watched raw last night(apart from the women which is another plus to raw, and randy orton could be very good if they go the right direction with him)

 

i liked the Kane/Jericho match, and think Kane has much improved from before

 

He should continue to be IC champ, but another short WWE title reign would be crappy

The Raw and IC probably will be unified, but i don't think they will dump the IC. In the near future(few month) I see the Raw and World title being unified and then the IC will be seperate again.

 

I say it's just an attempt to make the IC seem more important. I just hope they have a good storyline or it will be a terrible idea.
