Since we have people coming from NY and places north of that, why not try for a more central location? Something in DC or VA, perhaps? That way, it's a few hours' drive for everyone in NC or NY, and more fair for all involved.

 

That would also give us the ancillary benefit of meeting the "NO POBO~!!" lady in person...

I'd have to drive either way, whether it's to Virginia or NC (presuming I'm invited to this shindig, of course). VA is closer, but it's also in the middle for those from the NC area, and those north of me in NY. I'm just trying to be egalitarian here.

There's a remote possibility, seeing as how I really don't know what's going to happen once I relocate to North Carolina. But, still. It definitely seems unlikely. Personally, I'd be happy to invite anyone and everyone who could make it to this Smart Mark gathering and would be willing to drive a reasonable distance to get there. Any time after mid-November and I'm game.

I didn;t even know it was at teh Fleetcenter. I might go if the prices are reasonable. I haven't been to a PPV since Survivor Series 93, so I'm seriously considering it.

I forgot Incadenza will have to drive a long-ass way to Northern Virginia from Florida(it's already 8 hours from Charleston, I can't imagine from Florida).

I don't have to do the entire drive myself. Seeing as how apparently countless forumites live between here and Virginia, I could stop at whomever's city and carpool with that guy. Speaking from experience, northern Virginia can be done in less than a day (12 hours, roughly), but yeah, it would be a pain in the ass alone.
