Guest Vitamin X Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 No you don't, godthedog. I absolutely hate that song. As for songs that are awful, yet I love: Andrew WK - just about anything KISS - see "Andrew WK" Scatman John - "Scatman" Slipknot - "My Plague" Sevendust - "Denial" Sevendust - "Going Back To Cali" (LL Cool J cover) totally agreed on the Andrew WK thing. PARTY HARD! PARTY HARD! PARTY HARD!
Zorin Industries Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 Hot Gossip: I lost my heart to a starship trooper. You HAVE to hear this once in your life.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 well, if I like something, I usually don't think it's bad. The thing that sticks out most as an exception (and I'm going to have great big lumps of shit thrown at me for it) is 'Don't let me get me' by Pink. I know it's not a good song, but for some reason I listen to it anyways.
Guest Vyce Posted October 20, 2002 Report Posted October 20, 2002 Yes. I FEEL the Andrew WK hate. I know some people who claim he is the next coming of rock. Kill me NOW.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted October 20, 2002 Report Posted October 20, 2002 I think most of us here, Vyce, actually consider Andrew WK a guilty pleasure, as you know you shouldn't like him, but...you just can't help yourself feeling happy when you hear his music.
Guest mesepher Posted October 20, 2002 Report Posted October 20, 2002 For some reason, people look down on me for liking Blue Oyster Cult. These people listen to Blink-182 and Sum 41 and stuff. Assfaces...Blue Oyster Cult rocks. hey man, nothing wrong with liking BOC... they've done some killer stuff... too bad their song catologue only consists of Reaper, Zilla, and Burnin for You according to the public...
Guest Mindless_Aggression Posted October 20, 2002 Report Posted October 20, 2002 Andrew W.K. is just such a big fuckin moron that he comes off kinda fun. He's not the 2nd coming of rock or anything, but he's likable because he's just doing what he wants and doesn't seem to care if anyone sees any artistic value in it. That being said, I am embarassed to like Terrorist by Soulfly feat. Tom from Slayer. I despise Slayer but I can't help but bang my head like an idiot at the last 2 minutes of that song. God bless it.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted October 20, 2002 Report Posted October 20, 2002 *Rips Mindless Aggression's face off for not loving Slayer*
Guest Mindless_Aggression Posted October 20, 2002 Report Posted October 20, 2002 Just not my thing dude, his voice hurts me is all. Hurts me greatly. Although I do thank you for the face ripping, I've always wanted to have an excuse to walk around with a Wal-Mart sack on my head all the time and now I have it.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted October 20, 2002 Report Posted October 20, 2002 Booyah, you've been added to my face collection, along with Kotzenjunge, and CoreyLaz, who has had his face ripped off twice.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted October 20, 2002 Report Posted October 20, 2002 Bah, my face is still intact, and ESTABLISHED~! Other songs I'm not ashamed to love, after discovering my love for them while bowling tonight: "Oops I Did It Again" "Backstreet's Back" "Like the Deserts Miss the Rain" I freaked my friend out by acting UBER-effeminate during each while singing along. The people in the other lanes were DYING with laughter though. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Mindless_Aggression Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 So I have no face?! Hm....guess i could write a pain soaked ballad about it. I'll have the guy from Staind sing back up and Corey from Slipknot/Stone Sour look sad in the video. 4 times platinum baby.
Guest T®ITEC Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 X-Factor's theme... "What U Lookin' At?" by Uncle Kracker... I don't know if anyone else mentioned it, but it's a very ghey song, and I love it. I used to cheer for their song more than for them at shows. Good times.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Kotz, just accept it, I've ripped your face off, and it sits on my mantle wadded up in a ball with CoreyLaz's face, his replacement face, MA's face, and my face, which has been ripped off a few times. It's still an established lump of fascia and skin, but it's there. *points at it*
Guest papacita Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 X-Factor's theme... "What U Lookin' At?" by Uncle Kracker... I don't know if anyone else mentioned it, but it's a very ghey song, and I love it. I used to cheer for their song more than for them at shows. Good times. I'm with you on that. I like that song too. Also, "Nothin" by Nore (I hate the lyrics but love the beat...eh) and "Dirrty" by Christina Agule...Agu...you know how to spell her damn name!
