Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Report post Posted October 7, 2002 I currently have JERRY RICE and Chris Chambers. Looking for a backup. I was trying to get Armani Toomer but he's already taken.

Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Report post Posted October 7, 2002 Galloway Hakim David Terell Mushin Muhammed Santana Moss My choices.
Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted October 7, 2002 You might want to pick up Hakim. It seems like that Harrington is doing well as the Lions QB so far, so Hakim may improve. Is Steve Smith from Carolina available? He has been solid yardagewise the past few weeks.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted October 7, 2002 Mushin Muhammed is injuried right? Galloway has a minor hand injury also so he is basicall DTD Sanatana Moss & Hakim are starting to play well get one of them or a punt/kicker returner WR
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Report post Posted October 7, 2002 I'm still trying to understand just how in the hell my Team is 1-3. I have Rich Gannon as my starting QB with Steve McNair as backup. Deuce Mcallister and Marshall Faulk as RB's with Anthony Thomas as the backup. Jerry Rice as my # 1 WR.And Baltimore, who has been excellent lately as my DEF. Guest El Satanico Report post Posted October 7, 2002 Well Faulk hasn't been helping your team at all. You should bench him until the Rams show that they have a clue as how to play again. Anthony Thomas hasn't exactly been burning up the stats lists, but he's getting consistant point which is more then Faulk right now. If you want us to truly help you post a link to your team so we can see who is out there.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 7, 2002 Trade for a Buffalo receiver. Their D is on pace to be the worst ever, so I think they are giving up on winning and trying to let Bledsoe break the single season passing yard record instead. Moulds and Price are tearing it up every week.

Assuming that all the #1 WRs are taken, see what #2 recievers are around. You never know what you might find...
Guest bravesfan Report post Posted October 8, 2002 Galloway Hakim David Terell Mushin Muhammed Santana Moss My choices. Moss is the best choice here. Coach Edwards will rely on Pennington to PASS, PASS, PASS (just like in college w/ Marshall). Chrebet seems to be questionable for the rest of the month with several injuries, so it is safe to say Moss will be getting a lot of looks (deep yardage looks, since he is only 5'7", relying on his speed to burn DB's downfield). Not to mention he returns kicks and punts.
Guest El Hijo Del Lunatic Report post Posted October 8, 2002 Seriously, go with Hakim. He seems to be developing into a legit #1 recevier woith Detroit. Like I told Marvin when I made the Jamie Martin trade, Hakim's got a couple of 90+ yard games, and if he can get into the end zone a couple times, he'll be more than worth it. Moss is the best choice here. Coach Edwards will rely on Pennington to PASS, PASS, PASS (just like in college w/ Marshall). I doubt he would. With a young quarterback, I'd assume he'd want to RUN RUN RUN to keep the pressure off. LUNATIC - Pimpin' ho's and clockin' a grip like my name was Dolemite. Guest LaParkaMarka Report post Posted October 8, 2002 Ok, the Spartans have Ed McAffrey sitting on the bench. McAffrey is a solid, solid WR. He also has the freaking NYJ as his DEF. So, try trading one of your DEF for McAffrey. Maybe throw in something else expendable...one of your extra quarterbacks maybe? Try that.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted October 8, 2002 Try to trade Steve McNair and one of your defenses for a WR. Since it's a small league throw the kicker in the trade as well. You should bring Joe Harrington back or pick up Patrick Ramsey if you can find someone to take the Steve McNair, defense and kicker for WR trade. Josh Reed, Todd Pinkston or Hakim are probably your best FA WRs at this point. Clinton Portis, Moe Williams or Jamel White are the best fa RBs you've got to choose from. If you can you should try trading for a better backup TE. You should really consider shopping Marshall Faulk around. Your league seems to have some guys that don't know what they are doing, i mean one team released Corey Dillon. So you could probably take advantage of that and land a good backup WR, good RB and possibly a better back up TE in trade for McNair and Faulk. Offer a trade to Sclsu_Muddogs2002: McNair, Faulk and Steve Smith for Rod Gardner or Andre Davis, Randy McMicheal and Corey Dillon You'd have a solid back up WR and TE and a good RB to go in rotation with Thomas and Duece. Offer a trade to Snipers: Faulk and Steve Smith for Moulds and James Stewart. You get a good WR and a decent backup rb if you keep Stewart. I'd release Stewart and pick up Clinton Portis Offer a trade to spartans: Steve McNair and Steve Smith for Testeverde and Hines Ward or Ed Mcaffery You'd thenjust release Testeverde and pick up Harrington or Ramsey. Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2002 Moulds and Price are tearing it up every week. Can't argue that. I traded Terrell Owens to get Peerless Price and Shaun Alexander whom I have yet to start due to bye week, and it was worth putting Price in my starting lineup and he tore it up on Sunday against the Raiders being one of two WRs in my starting lineup to get a TD, the other was Keyshawn Johnson.
