Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Kurt Thomas continues to play well. 14 Pts, 16 Rebs. D. Anderson and Turkoglu are up for Trade. Looking for a Center. By the way, Pat Burke can now be picked up off Waivers.
Guest razazteca Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 all is good in Texas Parker 22 points Nash 30 points Rose 23 points Jason Williams 20 points and Battier has learned how to make points again
Guest midnight_burn Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Well i moved up 4 spots today, now if i could only get someone who hits plenty of 3 pointers, gets lots of assists and is good at Free Throws i'd be looking good.
Guest Will Scarlet Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Wow. I suddenly moved up to number one. I am not sure how my team does it. I guess, while they suck at getting points, they are quite good in a lot of other areas like rebounding, assists, and three point shooting. I am not complaining. It looks like I ended up with a pretty good steal in Gilbert Arenas. I grabbed that guy in the 8th round and he has put up some good numbers so far. I doubt it will last, but it is good to know that I was number one, if even for a day. I wish I would have tried this fantasy stuff sooner.
Guest razazteca Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 how strange it is as I am the #1 in FG% even with Jason Williams. But I am lacking in the HOSS~ rebounds but Juwan Howard is playing so I shall take the lead soon. I almost dropped Battier for Vin Baker but I decided not to take that risk.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 I got my Pickup of the Day: Voshon Lenard. I hope he continues.
Guest Leena Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Ugh... my guys need to start shooting better. I'm way ahead of everyone in boards, I just need some average shooting to hang around 1st. I need Szczerbiak to start playing...
Guest razazteca Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 fear the Kobe Trifecta~ 3 Triple Doubles in a row
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Warts Whackos - Will you be willing to trade Hill and McGrady for Baron Davis, Kenyon Martin, and Voshon Lenard/or Derek Anderson ?
Guest razazteca Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 damn one assist from Triple Double Spurs are destroying the Warriors by 16 in the begining of the 4th. Malik Rose made a 3 pointer at the end of the 3rd quarter with 0.3 on the clock. The floresant lights on the backboard seem to be the greatest innovation of the season, its much better than the old light bulb on top of backboards.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Why? Not a bad trade.
Guest midnight_burn Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Payton's only 3 rebounds from a Triple Double of his own, and his 17 assists so far will certainly help me out in that stat.
Guest razazteca Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Ginoboli bangs knee but it looks to be nothing serious as of yet. Tim Duncan made a 3 pointer! Spurs 87 Warriors 67 with 4 minutes left in game.
Guest razazteca Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 You cannot beat my hosses with lesser hosses! That's like saying Test would defeat The Undertaker... pure silliness. You can only counter hoss greatness with small, talented guys... but Taker will squash them anyway. The end. Juwan Howard = Brock Lesner Parker & Nash = Tag Team Champs Kobe = RVD.....The Whole Dam Team Rudos = Main Event I am #1
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 Stackhouse is going nuts vs the Cavs...17 pts in the 1rst qtr.. Too bad Im stuck watching the Knicks Kings game.. MSG can't be any quieter for Survivor Series than it is right now, granted its not sold out for the Knicks..but I bet you could hear a pin drop..
Guest Leena Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 As usual... I'm getting tons of boards, but pathetic shooting. Sigh... when you're 7 foot tall just stand under the rim! I don't care about points! Damn Ilgauskas trying to be Michael Fucking Jordan throwing up 18-foot fadeaways and shooting 3-of-20. Might as well get Yao Ming if he's gonna do that shit.
Guest Leena Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 I'm hoping Ginobili goes on IL, so I can get another roster spot. He's not doing much so far.
Guest midnight_burn Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 Grr, Lee Nailon's gets 20 points and he's on my bench, yay. If Eddy Curry doesn't start doing something good soon he's gone.
Guest Leena Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 Yay... Weatherspoon is named the definite starter, then he puts up an outstanding 0 pt, 4 reb performance in 18 minutes of play... RELEASED.
Guest razazteca Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 my title reign looks like to be a short one as my FG% is questionable at best. Nash 4-13 had a bad night but Newble is .500 and Harpring is 3-5 and Jason Williams is 3-6 at halftime.
Guest Leena Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 Giricek with a fine 0 pt performance... RELEASED Grrr... my team sucks in this league. I'm winning my head-to-head's in the other 6.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 3rd Place, 1/2 pt behind Dawns for 2nd! YES! My team is pretty balanced, although I could use better ORB and Block #s.. The bestest part is I've only used 40 games up so far, and yet the #'s are better than some teams who have used 50+ games. Stackhouse - 35 pts 5 Reb 3 St 3 Ast 1 Blk Hamilton - 28 pts 4 Reb 5 St 1 Ast Nowitzki - 28 pts 13 Reb 1 Ast 2 Blk R. Davis - 27 pts 3 Reb 2 Ast 5 St 1 Blk plus 11 Reb from Van Horn (Who kills me with his FG%) and 15 pts/3 3's from Ward. Last night was a pretty good night..
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 You all know that you have a fixed # of games you can play at each position right? Some teams are on a pace above that #..
Guest razazteca Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 tonight both Kobe and Howard are playing tonight to get the Rebounds that shall make me the #1 team again. Kobe has almost average a Triple Double this season
Guest Chuck Woolery Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 You all know that you have a fixed # of games you can play at each position right? Some teams are on a pace above that #.. Shit, no I did not. What is this number?
Guest Leena Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 82 games at each position... I'm not really worried about it, because by game 70 or so, I'm not gonna give a shit about the NBA anyway.
Guest Chuck Woolery Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 Oh. Well, blah @ that. Clever shifting should keep me from going over.
Guest cartman Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 82 games at each position... I'm not really worried about it, because by game 70 or so, I'm not gonna give a shit about the NBA anyway. Exactly why the NBA/NHL will never even come close to the popularity of Baseball/Football. After about 50-60 games you pretty much know what teams are gonna win it all...and it's boring as hell until the playoffs start... Now yes Baseball has the same issue but it's just the longtime love of the game that will always keep it interesting to alot of people throughout the summer when nothing else is on TV.
Guest Leena Posted November 8, 2002 Report Posted November 8, 2002 It's not just that... around mid-February is when college b-ball starts to fire up, and the last thing I want to watch is pointless NBA games until April.
