Vince McMahon planning to blame...

Rumor

Is this how wrestling "journalist" make a story. How can start off a story with "rumor" has it? Then finish up, with quotes from a wrestler, is it fact or fiction?

could start a grass roots movement of having fans wear brown paper bags with the words male soap operah suck in the front row.

I have been waiting to see that for years.

Does anybody get the feeling that booking meetings go like this?

(Vince walks up and reads an angle planned for smackdown)

Vince: This storyline is terrible, you idiot.

The booker turns around and his eyes are cross-eyed)

Booker: Sorry boss, I'm doing my best.

Vince: Who made this man a booker?

(Another booker, also cross-eyed, stands up)

Second booker: I did boss, he's my cousin.

Vince:(talking to JR) Who is he?

JR: He's an asshole boss.

Vince: I know that! What's his name?

JR: That is his name. Asshole, Michael Assole.

Vince: And his cousin?

JR: He's Asshole too boss, Phillip Asshole.

Vince: How many assholes we got on this booking team anyhow?

(Everyone except JR and Vince stand up)

Vince: I knew it, I'm surrounded by assholes. Keep writing assholes!

SO true, Hitman Jebus. Vince does need to step down. I think that even at this point - Shane would be a better "commander" than Vince is these days.

On the subject of Vince blaming talent. Fuck, if I were them - I'd organize a mass-walk-out. As soon as he placed the blame - BAM - Walk-Out! He'd come crawling back once half his roster hit the bricks.

No One knows what Vince is going to talk about Monday. To criticize, IN ADVANCE about a meeting that is nothing but a rumor by the Torch right now and talk about THE TALENT SHOULD WALK OUT, etc. is ridiculous.

Who cares? If he yells at the talent and Raw is awesome, great? If he tells them its 100% my fault and Raw sucks, we won't be happy. The meeting has NOTHING to do with our enjoyment of the show.

If there was a mass walkout we'd have two hours of HHH cutting promos, so I dunno if I want that or not.

If Vince does blame the talent they CANNOT do something stupid like get in his face about it. That kinda shit gets you fired. What they outta do is make some subtle points to Vince and try and get him to see their point of view. Say stuff like "We're trying but we need better angles that will compell the viewers to watch."

If he wants to blame a wrestler for the ratings downfall, then blame HGH, he is the champ meaning he is supposed to carry the show on his shoulders.Vince you are the boss start acting like it, don't let the inmate(HHH) run the asylum.

I guess we'll see come Monday. But if he blames Jericho & absolutely *buries* him, I know *my* enjoyment would suffer.

I agree with you to a point, but the talent already had HHH and the agents come out and reem them out basically saying the same stuff Vince is rumored to say so I don't think anyone is going out on a limb by believing this story/rumor.

*sigh* Let's see how I can refute that..

Vince: We're here today to meet with our new writers, Jayme Blitsch and Stacy Rhodes, who both wrote for critically acclaimed soap opera "Days Of Our Lives". Ladies, do you have any ideas for our next big angle?

Jayme: Well, like, we had this idea where, like, Kane was all nutso and, like, killed some girl, but now he's a really nice guy.

Stacy: Yeah, so, like, we take that total hottie Jericho...

HHH: Excuse me-uh, but do you-uh really think-uh you should-uh put Jericho-uh in a big angle-uh?

Stacy: Like, good point! So, we have Rob Van Dam come out and, like...

HHH (whispering to Vince): Dad-uh, I think-uh you need-uh to explain the way-uh this federation-uh works to these ho-uh-bags-uh.

Vince: Now, ladies, we have a pecking order here in WWE. The big angle must revolve around HHH.

Jayme: Um, like, okay... but we, like, don't like HHH.

Stacy: Yeah, he's got, like, a big nose.

Vince: That's it, you're both fired!

Heyman: But Vince, who will help Gerwitz write Raw?

Gerwitz: Well... (cue the monkey signature).

Vince: Okay, so they'll write Triple H vs Kane.

Heyman: Vince, what about the rest of the card.

Vince: Hmm... Brian, get the dartboard and give the monkey some darts.

Okay, that was an excuse to write a pointless skit, but you get my point. The shit they're writing for Trips/Kane is what they think compels viewers to watch, and if you don't want the wrestlers to speak up about it, you're not going to get anywhere.

Au Contraire, that should be EXACTLY what we want.

More HHH. More time. All HHH, all the time. It will force his weaknesses to be exposed. It will make clear the Inverse Correlation between HHH air time and fan interest.

We want things to get so comically, tragically, obviously, amazingly, Golden State Warriors win-loss record BAD that there is no choice for Vince but to scrap all and start anew.

The first step, as any 12-stepper knows, is to admit you have a problem. Recovery is the final step. The WWE needs to "wake up in a pool of its own vomit" before the need for immediate radical change will become obvious. To that end, things need to get bad bad bad bad BAD.

And, to that end, I say give EVERYTHING to Triple H. Let him run things into the ground. Let him prove his Unfitness to Rule. I applaud them blatantly and arbitrarily pulling titles out of their ass to give him. Pull back the curtain and let everybody see how contrived it is. Let it become obvious to even the densest fan that the whole show is just one big egofuck for The Boss' Daughter's Horizontal Dance Partner.

Overexpose the hell out of him! The fans turned on Rocky Miavia! Don't underestimate the power of pissed off proles! They do rise up every once in a while...

Let him sink the ship. Let him be in a position where the shows failure will be his fault and slowly his fault.

I think a walkout would be great. Like in WCW when Eric was like whoever is unhappy can leave and get a release, and then Raven walked out. Vince should rip everyone a new hole and then be like "Everyone who is unhappy can leave" when half the roster gets up and leaves think would start changing.

HGH: Thank you-uh Dad-uh....Jericho-uh you are not over-uh..

That line cracks me up everytime I see it.

I don't see a Walk out helping anything or anyone.

Say if 3/4 of the Raw Roster walks out. The show would suffer that night, but bet your ass Vince would end the "Split" within the next week and both Rosters would be working both shows again.

And the guys who did walk, would probably get sued for everything they got, and Triple H would bury them all on the shows with the "took your ball and went home" Speach.

All because Austin got away with it, don't think everyone can.

why can't HHH just Trip and put people out of their misery for 10 months or so

nah..

then he would be a gimpy full time Booker.

And im not trying to insult the Handicap but HHH is a gimp that makes the Handicap look good in terms of personality and Humanity.

Vince needs to stip him of Booking ability and throw him back to the wolves as JUST a wrestler.

If Vince indeed blames the roster, then he had better get ready for MAJOR heat. The RAW wrestlers are doing fine, it is Vince and his horrible creative team that is killing RAW. They woke up and smelled the coffee last Monday, and supposedly there are BIG CHANGES coming for RAW, those changes had better start showing this week.
