Was it a rip off of Pearl Jam's Evenflow, or something else, because in Uncensored 99 Heenan makes mention of something called "Welcome to the asylum"

Yes, Pearl Jam's "Evenflow" was the basis for his theme. Just like DDP's theme was based on "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana.

What about Jericho's original music... that really gay rift that he'd come running out to, then stand near the crowd and yell "WCW... are you ready?!"

 

I remember them originally using that same music for Tully Blanchard at Slamboree 94.

 

Man it was lame.

 

And Jericho sucked as a clean babyface too.

Scary thing is, Jericho's 1st WCW theme was an instrumental of a song called "Days Of My Life". That's right, the fucker had lyrics. And before you ask, yes they sucked.

 

Both his first and second WCW theme songs were production music.
