Guest The Superstar Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 Lesnar can bearhug them too. Brock Lesnar rules! And F5 them onto POPCORN!
Guest Anglesault Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 And then Bearhug them again! (All that F5ing on to popcorn tires a guy out, ya know)
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 Is it wrong to feel absolutely zero sympathy for the WWE right now? I'm kinda looking forward to seeing them attempt to weasel their way out of this one. JR- "Bah gawd, this feisty crowd at the AllTell Arena is rockin WWE No Mercy!!" * Meanwhile, the camera is only showing the first three front rows of the arena and not zooming around like normally done during a PPV.
Guest Anglesault Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 Didn't he make a "fashionably late" comment last month?
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 Hey, they can pad the crowd with guys who aren't doing anything for the PPV. You know, guys like RVD, Jericho, Booker, Knoble, Helms, Chavo, Eddy...
Guest Leena Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 Those workers should be offering their service to fill in the crowd, but they don't since they're not team players.
Guest Anglesault Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 Yeah, they can send Jericho out there in a disguise: A BIG FAT BRAZILLIAN WOMAN! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
Guest DJ Jeff Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 Get ready to hear Ross make mention tonight on RAW that there are still some good seats available for No Mercy. Damn, this is pretty sad, considering they go from selling out the Skydome for Wrestlemania 18, to not even filling a 13,000 seat arena. The Survivor Series is in MSG, right? Get ready for an almighty massive crowd of 2,000 to attend that PPV.
Guest HartFan86 Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 hHh: Hey Rob-uh, go out in the crowd and uh hold this sign. *HHH hands him a "HHH SHOULD WIN EVERY TITLE" Sign* RVD (looking at the sign): Dude, why do I have to do it? Why don't you do it? HHH: Arabs, Rob-uh, Arabs. RVD: Whatever, dude.
Guest HartFan86 Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 I always wanted to see a PPV at a dome with like 4 people there. They are just running around the whole time and doing stuff. That would be funny.
Guest Ram Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 We'll probably get pretaped crowd shots that will last about 8 seconds each with the camerman swinging wildly over the same 12 people. All of which are furiously waving their "hHh" signs and whatnot.
Guest DJ Jeff Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 We'll probably get pretaped crowd shots that will last about 8 seconds each with the camerman swinging wildly over the same 12 people. All of which are furiously waving their "hHh" signs and whatnot. Either that, or we'll get crowd shots from previous RAWs and Smackdowns, and the WWE will think we won't know the difference. I'd laugh if they did that, and they did a shot from a RAW in MSG. Vince: The crowd won't notice a difference at all. After all, it's just the TV audience that will see it, and they won't notice at all.
Guest the pinjockey Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 Maybe they taped crowds from the football games this weekend. You see a match then all of a sudden the fans are outdoors painted blue and orange screaming their lungs out and back in the ring Brock has the bearhug on UT.
Guest Anglesault Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 Every match will be in the cell with the camera in it, so you can't see a clear view of the crowd.
Guest HartFan86 Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 LOL, they go from the ring to a shot of the Skydome during Rock/Hogan.
Guest DJ Jeff Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 What's going to be even better, is when Ross keeps on mentioning throughout No Mercy that the crowd at the Alltel Arena is pumped, and the arena is bah gawd damn near sold out. After all, he would say the same exact thing, even if the entire arena was empty.
Guest Midnight Express83 Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 MSG will be a sell out or a near sell just because its MSG. And 5000 people one side can make it look like a sell out. And it won't be hard for the WWF to get 2 to 3000 to just fill in with fake signs, they done it before. This PPV is going to be like Starrcade 87. Those who seen the PPV know what I am talking about. Those that haven't just further prove my point.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 I wish I could say I was surprised by this. A card with four HOSSES/STUDS headlining, with only two other matches announced, and Kevin Nash promoting it - and it's failing? Gasp! Vince must be wondering if the world's turned upside down! This SHOULD have worked! I wonder if Vince will blame the possible war on Iraq on this.
Guest HartFan86 Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 Hey, Midnight Express used my quote! I'm over! *Spits water and flexes*
Guest Midnight Express83 Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 Vince: "The buyrate was hurt because in this post 9-11 world, people are more tuned into CNN to see the US at war with Afgan.... ::Patterson whispers into Vince's ear:: Vince: What do you mean that war is over? Fighting Iraq? Well, um, Hogan and Slaughter, can you please meet me in my office in 3 minutes?
Guest DJ Jeff Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 Hopefully, like pretty much everyone stated, Vince realizes that the fans aren't liking the current product, and does something to make it better.
Guest HartFan86 Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 HHH: CNN... *Thinks, gets a thought* HHH: CNN! CANDAIANS! JEEEEERRICHO!!!!!
Guest HartFan86 Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 Hopefully, like pretty much everyone stated, Vince realizes that the fans aren't liking the current product, and does something to make it better. In other news, Armageddon has been renamed to the HHH show.
Guest Midnight Express83 Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 The buyrate for this PPV will be the same as WCW Greed.
Guest DJ Jeff Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 In other news, Armageddon has been renamed to the HHH show. ....And HHH will be in every match, defending the World Title as well.
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 "This is KWXL radio and the next 8,000 callers will receive free tickets to this Sunday's WWF No Mercy"
Guest AndrewTS Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 Hopefully, like pretty much everyone stated, Vince realizes that the fans aren't liking the current product, and does something to make it better. Ha! An eternal optimist, eh? Oh, you so crazy, don't you know that the fans don't know what they want? Vince and Steph know better, silly!
Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 The Benoit vs. Angle match will be blamed, seeing as it's the second month in a row they've had it. Brock vs. Taker can't be blamed because even though they had it last month, it's Hell in a Cell... so it puts asses in the seats. HHH vs. Kane is a fresh new matchup for this month, so it couldn't be their fault. It must be that mat based crap that Angle and Benoit tried to pull last month. No one wants to see that again. What a played out match.
Guest RenegadeX28 Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 5000.......holy crap...I can see the millions..........AND MILLIONS of contests that will pop up......
Guest DJ Jeff Posted October 14, 2002 Report Posted October 14, 2002 "This is KWXL radio and the next 8,000 callers will receive free tickets to this Sunday's WWF No Mercy" 2 days later.... "We've still got 7,990 tickets to give away. Hurry, 'cause they won't be around much longer." The day of No Mercy.... "Still 7,980 tickets remaning. Hurry if you want to attend No Mercy because guaranteed, this will sell-out fast. If you call now, you'll win an autographed HHH t-shirt."
