Secret Agent 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2002 Well after reading the whole show i must say it was one fine effort. Minus the Kamikaze and MVS double no show. Why are you guys no showing a #1 contenders match for the World title anyways? Ehh, Congrats to the winners and to those who showed. Particulary you Dillon, that was a sweet match you wrote there. Judge also writes an entertaining piece as usual. *Goes to get his tables ready*
Guest SupaTaft Report post Posted October 15, 2002 Well... Being the lazy bastard that I am, I didn't read the whole match you wrote Matt but just from a glance, it looked pretty good. Two things though(I know this could be handled by PM but to get more of my character across I'll just say them here). 1. For a fella with a vitality of 2, you kicked out of Logan's finisher. You've been here long enough to know that you don't kick out of finishers unless the match is real high profile. The Vertebreaker can damn near KILL a man, even though its trickyer than shit to set up. You need to work on that. 2. You made Logan tap. That's a no-no. He's got a vitality of 10... he wont tap. I suppose I should make that a tad clearer in my stats... Though, since I didn't write I suppose my character was at the mercy of my opponent. Just for future reference though, vitality of 2 = you go down with about two firm punches. Vitality of 10 = you go down after about 25 chair shots... or a finisher... or a shot from the glass ceiling. Not intending to knock on you too much man, just sorta bringing this shit out in the open. -Taft
Guest ScorpionDanceofDeath Report post Posted October 15, 2002 No showing because I've put too much on my plate and the Smarks is what's sliding off the edge.. Sorry.

Not to mention Ejiro got a 8 in the old vitality department; although I figure Logan is a lot quicker about dealing pain than Ejiro the work the bodypart guy? Guest SupaTaft Report post Posted October 15, 2002 Ejiro is much faster than Logan, just win with a roll-up or some other crazy move that works into a pin to catch him off guard. Oh and be sure to have Logan beat up Ejiro after the match... j/k. Though post-match beatdowns can take up plenty of space... -Taft
Guest Ace309 Report post Posted October 15, 2002 Congrats to Tim! Nice little match from Johnny D, too, and it looked like a great show overall. And with that, I own the most recent post on all 3 boards.

But the thing about tapping...even with a vality of 10, I'm sure Logan could tap. You said in your stats that "Note: It's not that he no-sells a lot, its the fact that he can kick out of just about every move except for a finisher.", but nothing about making you tap. Guest TheBostonStrangler Report post Posted October 16, 2002 Nice work, guys. MVS and Kamikaze, I'm pretty disappointed in you. You went through a lot of trouble to set the match up, and then you both no-showed. That doesn't make Strangler happy. However, Tim wrote a spectacular match, which was nice to see. I also enjoyed the opener. I thought the psychology was quite nice. And I suppose that Judge guy wrote something that didn't suck.
