Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted October 15, 2002 Now that Hurricane jobbed to lose the tag team titles, and he's on RAW where he can't go after the Cruiserweight title, where do you see him going and what would you like to see him do? I don't see the HurriKane tag team sticking together for much longer. Given that it lasted for three weeks, with Kane winning the titles on the first week (although Hurricane did get in for the "Stereo Chokeslams" spot), Hurricane getting "injured" so Kane single-handedly wins TLC4 on the second week, and Hurricane getting pinned to lose the titles on the third week, the partnership didn't seem to exist for any other purpose but so Kane could have a fall guy, which he didn't even need. I'd say that constitutes a "burial", particularly if Kane goes on to win the unification, thus establishing him as "above" the tag division, with asolutely no need for the two to stay together. So... who else on RAW could Hurricane work with? His buddy Shannon Moore is on Smackdown, as is his ex-buddy Matt Hardy and most of the cruiserweight people. They could stick run-down Jeff Hardy with him, although since they usually choose to team Hardy with RVD, one that possibility doesn't seem very likely. I think he'll be stuck on Heat, although I'd love to see him team or feud with D'Lo Brown; I think they could work well together.

Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted October 15, 2002 Hurricane came to Raw to take Crash Holly's jobber spot on Heat.
Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted October 15, 2002 The Raw he returned they seemed to be on the right track somewhat, and now a couple weeks later Hurricane is just the second banana who shines Kane's titles. They completely fucked him over and are doing nothing at all with him now. Send him back to SD, already.
Guest Brian Report post Posted October 15, 2002 They could always sign some cruisers to RAW and have their own division.
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted October 15, 2002 A Raw cruiser divison might not be a bad idea...it's not like Smackdown really is putting any time into it anyway. Hurricane should just have bloodbaths with Spike every week on Heat now
Guest Pop Culture God Report post Posted October 15, 2002 Although it's totally unrelated, let me say that if Hurricane constantly dropped comic-book references besides the 60's BATMAN show, that he'd be funnier.
Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted October 15, 2002 It tells you what they think of Hurricane when they job him on Heat to Steven Richards and then the next week on Raw Steven Richards jobs to Lawler.
Guest SP-1 Report post Posted October 15, 2002 I'd like to see him go to SD! personally. To be honest, Hurricane has quickly become one of my favorites. Right up there with Jericho and Misterio for me. It's a great character, and Helms is great in the ring when they let him. SP
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted October 15, 2002 They could always sign some cruisers to RAW and have their own division. This could work, except aren't most of the HeAT regulars like Raven, Sean O'Haire, Shelton Benjamin, and Justin Credible (dull as he is, he must be mentioned) "too big" for the cruiserweight division? What would happen to them if there was a RAW Cruiserweight division?
Guest Ravenbomb Report post Posted October 15, 2002 didn't Mr. Benjamin just wrestle on Velocity a couple weeks ago?
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted October 15, 2002 Did he? I don't know, I haven't seen "my show" since I moved to college.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2002 You know what I would LOVE to see Hurricane do? Do the Vertibreaker on HHH. Over and over and over again. Until HHH's neck was beyond repair. >=D
Guest Human Fly Report post Posted October 15, 2002 I don't think the WWE knows what they are going to do with Hurricane. Bringing him over and teaming him with Kane was classic "paper napkin booking". Now that that story has run it's course Hurricane has no direction. At least when he was on SD he could have a cruiser match or he and Shannon Moore could've been in the Tag tournament. Has anyone else noticed that the time when Raw had the most over and well established tag teams was when they didn't even have the tag titles?
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted October 15, 2002 Now that Hurricane jobbed to lose the tag team titles, and he's on RAW where he can't go after the Cruiserweight title, where do you see him going OVW. Although you're right, there's possibilities for some good comedy if they teamed Hurricane and Hardy, but the problem is that neither guy can deliver a promo for beans.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted October 16, 2002 Hurricane ain't going to OVW, although I assume you were joking. They'll probably job him out until he gets no reaction, and only then decide to push him. Fucking WWE...
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted October 16, 2002 They probably put the Hurricane on Raw not knowing that Kane was gonna headline the next ppv, cause I'm 100% sure they haven't been planning very far ahead. They probably figured team the two together, put the belts on them...then next week they figured, hey! Kane should be in the main event at the ppv, let's make him a rapist/murderer...then after that they're probably thinking, why the hell did we put Hurricane on Raw? LooseCannon25 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2002 I wouldn't mind seeing Hurricane in singles action and getting a bit of a push. If not how about Hurricane and Goldust together in a comedic tag team role.........I'm sure they could get over great as a team and would gel very well together. The Super Hero wannabe and the Bizarre freak....They can be the SuperFreaks or something..........This would also free up Booker T for solo action and maybe he get that main event push he should have gotten months and months ago. Guest SP-1 Report post Posted October 16, 2002 I may get laughed off of the board for this but . . . I think Hurricane could do just fine on his own. Stay with me here . . . this requires continuity. We saw a very, very faint serious side in his dealings with Kane this past Monday. I think that if they used this as a catalyst for a Hurricane that was still comedic, but more focused, and let him get in on some good old fashioned Heel vs. (heroic) Face feuds, he'd do excellent. But maybe that's just me. SP

Guest Taylorjt4 Report post Posted October 16, 2002 I read on twnp.com that Hurricane was getting heat backstage for being friends with one of the main writers. Maybe this is why that since he won the tag belts, he has been buried.

Maybe this is why that since he won the tag belts, he has been buried. If that's true, that should be a bullshit reason. I mean...HHH is a CLOSE friend with one of the bookers, and no one in the company says anything...so why can't Helms be a friend with a writer?
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted October 16, 2002 Hurricane gets nailed on the head and forgets he's the Hurricane and becomes RAWs #1 Ace Reporter Gregory Helms full time for a while while Terri goes away because she's been kidnapped by Kane or something.. Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2002 Terri can also get amnesia and think that she's Marlena. Then she can hang around Goldust again! over his objections

Guest godthedog Report post Posted October 17, 2002 I read on twnp.com that Hurricane was getting heat backstage for being friends with one of the main writers. Maybe this is why that since he won the tag belts, he has been buried. this tag team title crap was meaningless, hurrican's been consistenly buried since he got jobbed out to jamie noble. earlier this year he was one of the most over guys on the roster, but since king of the ring he's been on a downward slope. he hasn't had his own storyline in months, i can't recall any significant matches he's won, & the fans aren't caring as much. Guest Brian Report post Posted October 17, 2002 Supposedly he was sulking after losing the title and he didn't want to participate in the TLC. Ehh, he just came over to get Kane more over anyways.
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted October 17, 2002 I thought Kane was supposed to get over through winning the IC title. Oh, wait... If/when HHH wins, do you see Hurricane and Kane just sweeping back their tag titles?
