Guest Smues Report post Posted October 20, 2002 "This is Barry's World Series, and we're just watching it" Fuck this I'm watching all the games in mute from now on. Maybe mlb.com has a radio feed with real announcers I can listen too.
Guest Bricks Report post Posted October 20, 2002 I'm a Barry Bonds fan and even I can't take the whole "Let's pimp Bonds every 10 seconds" announcing.

I listened to the first 7 innings on the internet, and I didn't hear what you're talking about.
Guest Brian Report post Posted October 20, 2002 McCarver was horrible during the Cardinals series as he couldn't help but pimp his team every second of the game.
Guest danielisthor Report post Posted October 20, 2002 pretty soon they'll have a mic up Barry's ass so you'll know when he passes wind.

I listened to the first 7 innings on the internet, and I didn't hear what you're talking about. YEs I was watching the Tv Broadcast. It shouldn't be called the world series, it should be billed as "The McCarver and Friends blowjob of Barry Bonds hour. " It is damned near impossible to listen to a broadcast with McCarver when Bond's is playing. I am amazed that Bond's can run the bases though with McCarver's mouth glued to his dick. You'd think that would make it hard to run.
Guest Mr. Slim Citrus Report post Posted October 20, 2002 You can try listening here . There's some delay though, I think.
Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted October 20, 2002 How easy is it to hit HR's to rightfield any ball hit out there seems to be a HR. The Angels couldn't get the clutch hit and the Bullpens (especially the Giants) were outstanding. Here's something that annoys me. After the game Harold Reynolds said Rob Nen needed those days off. Why do analyst in sports say the same thing everytime. I'm sure if Nen would of struggled or blown the game, Reynolds would of said Nen was rusty from not pitching in so long. Why not say its hard to tell what a pitcher will do with that much rest between appearances..you could either struggle or pitch well like Rob Nen did. Guest Studmaster 2000 Report post Posted October 21, 2002 The Score is 7-5 in the Top of the 3rd Inning. They might as well play this Home Run Derby Rules and call it a night.

Guest Kingpk Report post Posted October 21, 2002 HOLY SHIT, where the hell did THAT one land?
Guest Texas Small Arms 09 Report post Posted October 21, 2002 I lost that ball, but this was a sad game both pitchers should have been pulled innings before they were actually pulled. I've never seen a game where the picthers throw up that many goepher balls and was still left in and hell I live in Houston, we had Jose Lima for Christ's sakes
Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted October 21, 2002 What a long game. A little too high scoring for my tastes. The Bonds Home Run was a mammoth shot.
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Report post Posted October 21, 2002 FU Bonds -- Go Angels...
Guest DrTom Report post Posted October 21, 2002 Tim Salmon, who's played for about a dozen years and hit quite a few home runs himself, could be seen saying, "Oh my God. That's the farthest ball I've ever seen" after Bonds hit his shot. I have no idea where that one landed, but it had to hit the scoreboard and bounce back into the seats. This is what happens when you pitch to and challenge Barry Bonds...
Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted October 21, 2002 Luckily for the Angels they could afford to give up that Home Run to Bonds.
Guest Jericholic82 Report post Posted October 21, 2002 Ive said it before ill say it again. the angels were the better team. i implore my fellow TRUE yanks fans to stop talking to the others cuz the conversation will go nowhere (especially with the haters who I am sick of already) go giants (if only because they started in NY and cuz I hate frontrunning southern cal fans-its real tough to live in cal at this time for a nyer like me ) btw the series so far has been compelling enough for me to continue watching (whodahunk it) and i belive bonds homer ball is still traveling through the air somewhere above canada last night i woke up and went outside, i swear I saw a baseball flying through the air
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted October 23, 2002 I like that. Big sign that says pitch to Barry and the next pitch to Barry he hits a 2 run HR and the Giants are back in the game..
Guest Texas Small Arms 09 Report post Posted October 23, 2002 The Giants need to hold them and get some offense, this is sad....and dammit someone needs to hit Coveys Cove so I can get a free taco

Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted October 23, 2002 Something needs to be done about the length of the games. Does the pitcher have to take so long between pitches, and it seem if he's ready the batter steps out of the batters box.
