Guest tetsubeav Report post Posted October 19, 2002 Honestly, the cynic in me just sees Matt slowly gaining heat just to be noticed by HHH, moved to RAW and buried in a 1-month "HHH-rub" feud. Of course, since I don't get a station that carries Smackdown in my area, at least that would mean I'd get to see Matt with this gimmick for a little while before he's Pedigreed out of it. Guest graph9 Report post Posted October 20, 2002 Funny how things change on the net..a couple of months ago there was almost a universal distain for Matt on this board.....and on most of the net..distain directed towards both brothers..& alot of people don't like Jeff..but now all of a sudden there is this huge lovefest towards Matt & people r hopping on his bandwagon left and right..hope no one breaks a leg trying 2 get on..He is getting better and i hope he goes far..but i couldn't help but notice how all of a sudden he has all these new fans.. So? Jeff used to be a great bumper and an alright worker, but now he's a slow, bad worker and blows spot by spot. Matt was pretty bland, but now he's got character and has improved his workrate. Right....the reason everyone likes Matt now is b/c he went from a boring babyface to this cocky heel who is just hilarious. If you haven't figured out by the love for Jericho in WCW people eat this kinda character up. Seriously it's not one guy saying "I like him" and then everyone else saying "Yeah me to" without even ever seeing him. This internet stereotype is so old. So you mean he did something to make people like him? How dare he! Everybody knows once you're disliked by the IWC, it's against to rules to change and become entertaining. While I see no change at all in his ring-work like some people have, his character improvement alone is enough for me to want to jump on the Mattitude bandwagon as you say. Do you at least get a tape of the shows from somewhere? I feel sorry for you if you're missing some of this stuff. Matt was pretty bland, but now he's got character and has improved his workrate. Just because he's funny now doesn't mean his workrate's changed. Besides, all he's really done is fought Taker in brawls. That's not really the ideal situation to shine in?
