Can we ban Blanky

Recommended Posts

Guest Midnight Express83

I am not the one who normally ask for people to be banned. But Blanky is just as big of a troll as -Cuttroat-. Ban him.

Balderdash. He hasn't broken any rules, and only trolls because you allow him to annoy you. Just realize it's all an act like the rest of us and get on with your posting life. He hasn't flamed outside of NHB, so what's the problem?

I'm going to assume that this thread is dedicated to Banky Edwards because I don't recall anyone named "Blanky" causing any trouble.

Banky has only been flaming people in the NHB folder, which is fair game for anyone that steps in there due to the rules and the nature of the board. In fact, the only time that I have recalled him actually flaming someone was RobEDangerously who started the thread in the NHB folder. Otherwise all I have seen from Banky is him just messing around with people in the folder which is in the rules of the folder.

He should not be banned since he has followed the rules of the board and has not started any flaming wars outside of the folder to the best of my knowledge, which is normally the reason for why people get banned.

Sass pretty much summed up why we won't be banning Banky. Personally, I haven't seen him do anything warrenting a banning in the first place.

I like Banky, though I can see he rubs some people the wrong way. Still, no reason to ban someone for being a prick. We keep Anglesault around, don't we?

I don't see anything wrong with Banky. his Owning of Rob was good enough for me.

No no.. you are all wrong. Banky has stepped out of the NHB board. To quote him from the "How should Billy Gunn be buried and kicked out of, the WWE?" thread in the WWE folder

Dangerously, why the negativity towards BA Gunn? I guess like GLAAD, you simply feel he let you down.

Now, with the GLAAD mention, Banky has refered to me as a homosexual. If he wanted to say that Gunn let me down, he could have left out the GLAAD part. But, he put it in because GLAAD was disappointed over Gunn not really being gay.

I can't see how you could say that Banky wasn't refering to me as a homosexual.

Therefore, that is his flame towards me in the WWE folder.

He has flamed out of the NHB folder. There is no other way to see that post.

I don't care if it was a 'joke' (which will probably be his lame 'cop-out'), it is still a flame, it is still trolling (I did not mention Banky in that thread at all either).

There's your first piece of proof of Banky's non NHB trolling.

I flame in every folder too, though. BAN ME~!

Yeah, but it's DJ Jeff, so it doesn't count.

Here's how he wasn't saying you were a homosexual: He was drawing an analogy between you and them, since they were the only ones even close to disappointed in the angle on the planet. Saying you were disappointed while noting another disappointed party is not flaming.

but the reason they were disappointed was because he turned out straight. Comparing me to them is an obvious statement that he is calling me gay like them.

I just felt like it'd be a fun idea to find humiliating ways to bury Billy Gunn

He could have named alot of people who don't like Gunn or are disappointed with him, but he named the Gay and Lesbian Alliance against Defamation.

Obviously he was trying to refer to me in that way

omparing me to them [GLAAD] is an obvious statement that he is calling me gay like them.

Rob, I think you're reading too much into it. To me, it looks like he was comparing two parties disappointed in Billy Gunn. You could infer (and chose to) that you and GLAAD were disappointed for the same reason, but that doesn't look like what he was implying.

I'm on Kotz with this one, Rob. Basically he is saying that Billy Gunn let you and GLAAD down, but he isn't referring to you as a homo.

From my take, it sounds like you're a Billy Gunn fan and what he's inferring to is that you're disappointed that he wasn't a better performer or whatever. GLAAD is let down because of the "revelation" that he wasn't gay. Two entirely different things.
