Does anybody else think Lisa had some major problems before she went on the show? I seriously doubt she was a normal person and then just went crazy after one week training to be a wrestler.

 

From the looks of the past two episodes I think they held those more personal interviews with the finalists not to pick who the best people were but to pick the people who would make the most interesting show. I think they did stuff like "There's two people. They both are in good physical form and had good videos. This one said they have a history of getting into fights with other people alot. Which one should we pick?"

 

Anybody think they go for the people who will cause problems? I do!

Of course. I think they do this for all reality shows. Do you really think someone like Scott was picked for their physical ability? His physique? No, it's becaue he was naked in his video. With that said, he's one of my favourite personalities on any WWE show right now. I still can't get over his flips from last week!

Yeah, they were actually feuding, but they never bothered to finish it.

 

Did anyone watch last night?  As expected, the company did not show footage from Lisa's "breakdown".  In fact, Big flat out lied to the audience and contestants about Lisa's departure.  He just said she didn't want to be on the show any more, she didn't want it, blah blah.  He didn't mention on air her storming the house and suicide attempt (jumping from the roof of the house).

I'm pretty sure they know what happened. I'm guessing he told them that first for the cameras and then told them what really happened.

 

I don't know why you seem to be upset about it. I think it shows some class that they didn't exploit her mental and/or emotional issues, something she obviously must've had coming into the competition. Really, think how awful it must've been for her if this went past this small Internet circle and was broadcast on national TV in an episode that would be shown over and over again?

 

1) I have a feeling Jonah will be the Pete of TE 3. Become peoples favorite, but be the last one cut before they announce the winners.

If you think about it, it could be better for him that he was cut when he was. That way he didn't get a chance to act like an immature, whining brat like Jake and Kenny did. I think that might have really hurt any chance they had of being signed in the near future.

 

2) I like Matt or John to win. And for some reason, I would really like to see Scott make it. He is the only one in the house with a personality.

It's been two weeks, man...they really haven't really even tried to get anybody else "over."

 

I know Tough Enough is very hard but it's not like a concentration camp or anything like that. Did they pick the most fucked up people to make good tv? They must have!!!!

Not for the Tough Enough Series. A rating of 1.0 is pretty shitty. If they keep this up, there will not be a tough enough 4.

I agree with you. But the reality is if the company wanted them they would have already signed them. WWE is not interested in York and Matthews, for example.

I totally agree with mach7. I hope this is the last Tough Enough. They hardly know what their doing with the Talent they have now. Why keep adding 2 -4 new kids to the roster each year? Even if they do send them to OVW, their is other indy guys out there who would be better and would be willing to get "Re-Programed" and learn WWE Style.

 

Screw Tough Enough, Heat, Bottom Line and whatever other No purpose shows they have now. Make a Damn OVW TV show so when the "New" guys or Women show up on TV, the fans will already know a little about them.

You don't have to participate in a sport to be an expert on it. No, Big has never wrestled. But the man must know what he's talking about if the company has given him the task of analyzing wrestlers. I think he's doing a good job of critiquing the talent.

That seems silly. Do they really believe someone like Justin has a better look or personality than ANYONE on the indies? That's ridiculous. I don't know about his personality, but he's definitely ugly, and they're more attractive guys as athletic with as good as a build as him, if not better, on the indy circuit. But he's 6'4" or something, and the WWE knows we all jsut want big, tall people...who cares how good they are. Fuck that.

But no one's really gotten much of a focus except Scott at this point. And judging from the past, that doesn't bode well for his chances. Logically, when someone is a major focus early on, it's because they're not staying beyond "early on." The people that make it for the finals...they showcase them when everyone's gone. In the first TE, I remember being all "Who's that?" to Taylor in about halfway through.

Same with me. If you're make a bet you think you REALLY can't afford to lose, you don't go with something like the other guy getting nubmers at a bar. Any halfway decent-looking guy can get some girl's number at a bar. Even if he was ugly, he just needs to find the ugliest person there and get their number. Good point. I remember saying that in the first weeks of Season 2. Maybe I just don't want to see him go. I guess Scott + Ambulance = early dismissal. Alas, poor Korean Firecracker. We barely knew ye...

In the teaser, they showed Scott passed out on his bed, and what appeared to be failed attempts to get him to wake up. Then they cut to the ambulance.

 

Could be a huge swerve to make us think it's Scott... wouldn't put it past them...
