Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 19, 2002 Report Posted October 19, 2002 The smart money would be on RVD...since he's being used to promote Survivor Series...and HHH just got another job out of him for no reason on RAW. Either him or Booker. There is no one else. I would have said Booker all the way if he was still facing Jericho one on one...but he's not. I could have seen him beating Jericho as a setup to job to HHH. It could always be a Kane rematch... hell...I'm not convinced KAne is losing this match. HHH has always shown he has no problem putting over people who are no threat to his spot. And that = Kane. Especially after this angle destroyed him.
Guest CanadianChick Posted October 19, 2002 Report Posted October 19, 2002 I don't think HHH will lose. But I wouldn't be completely shocked if Kane won, bombed as champ and HHH got the title back after giving someone else a chance.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted October 19, 2002 Report Posted October 19, 2002 I echo your statements, CC.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted October 19, 2002 Report Posted October 19, 2002 I don't think HHH will lose. But I wouldn't be completely shocked if Kane won, bombed as champ and HHH got the title back after giving someone else a chance. I hate to say it, but I don't think this super awesome feud is over yet. We still don't have an actual reason for all this crap being shoved on stage. Now I don't think they'll give an actual reason, but I think they'll spend the next month teasing the reason. "What does HHH know? Who put him up to this, damn him to hell by gahd!" Then it will be revealed to be some sort of inane Master Plan (probably on Heat), then Kane will job for a 2nd time. Big Show will have probably turned face again by the December ppv. EDIT: Um, what the hell did that quote have to do with anything? oh well.
Guest RickyChosyu Posted October 19, 2002 Report Posted October 19, 2002 Even with the limitations of the a few of the guys involved, the tag match is the only thing that has a shot at being decent.
Guest CanadianChick Posted October 19, 2002 Report Posted October 19, 2002 When the buyrates suck and there is no reaction for either wrestler, hopefully Vince will think to himself "Hey, this angle sucks...alot". We can only hope...
Guest Brian Posted October 19, 2002 Report Posted October 19, 2002 I've been echoing Booker for about two months, and you've got to move with what's hot.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 19, 2002 Report Posted October 19, 2002 If that were the case Brian, RVD would have won the title last December
Guest Brian Posted October 20, 2002 Report Posted October 20, 2002 Yeah, that's true, but their at this point right now.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 20, 2002 Report Posted October 20, 2002 So then...I guess Booker will be almost there in 10 months by their calender.
Guest Dangerous A Posted October 20, 2002 Report Posted October 20, 2002 To answer the original post, no way in hell RVD vs Flair is MOTN. In fact, on all ppv's from here on out, Flair will never be in MOTN. Newsflash folks: Flair is old and can no longer have great matches. He doesn't suck ass time in and time out, but he is no longer MOTN material. RVD isn't good enough to carry Flair to a MOTN unless the participants in the SD title match die before they go on. Plus they have absolutely zero build to their match making me and just about all the other marks not give 2 shits about the match.
Guest Nater Posted October 20, 2002 Report Posted October 20, 2002 As an RVD fan, I believe the best approach to this match is the "Optomisticly Naive" approach. -What the hell?? how many times does RVD have to lay down until he gets somewhere???
Guest I Fear Hogans Air Guitair Posted October 20, 2002 Report Posted October 20, 2002 No one wants RVD to be in this match. Its really not looked forward too, which should hurt the heat. Flair doesnt really have strong heat as a heel yet either. Agreed.
