Guest TJH Report post Posted October 20, 2002 It seems apparent that HHH has the biggest ego, possibly of all time, and is boning Steph. I'm just wondering, if and when Vince will step in. Ratings are down, attendances are down, morale is supposedly shithouse. When will Vince step in and do something about HHH, who seems to be responsible for some of this? Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted October 20, 2002 Nope. Not until the breakup.
Guest Big McLargeHuge Report post Posted October 20, 2002 Probably not until HHH and Steph break up. If that ever happens. Until then, we'll have to put up with every titile being handed over to him and every mid-carder fed to him for reasons that escape the majority of fans. Smark or mark. Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 20, 2002 Yes. And at the rate of attendance and all...I'd say soon too. All he'll do is take the strap off of him though. HHH has one very special thing on his side not named Steph... with Rock and Austin away...the WWE has never been able to elavate anyone to take the roll of top guy. I'll leave it to you to figure out why that has never happened. Hint: HHH and Taker are usually the answer.
Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted October 20, 2002 HHH and Steph will never break up if HHH has anything to say about it. He will do anything in his power to stay with her. Stephanie will have to break up with him and that doesn't sound like it will happen either after her Howard Stern interview. HHH will just have to get a career ending injury. Guest phoenixrising Report post Posted October 20, 2002 I'd hope that Vince would step in if business was threatened seriously, but I think that will happen less and less as the number of empty seats rises with the number of HHH segments on Raw. I don't listen to Howard Stern's show...what did Stephanie say on there regarding HHH?
Guest danielisthor Report post Posted October 20, 2002 you're assuming that they think that HHH is the problem with the show and the ratings. I on the other hand blame, piss poor writing, not enough actually wrestling, too much promos and backstage crap, not enough use of certain talent, too much of other talent, jerry the king lawler and his obsession with "puppies", more piss poor writing, lack of direction from bichoff, who's suppose to be the GM and runs around like an idiot, too many injuries, the defection of Eddie and Chris, no Rock (not that i mind really), no SCSA (see rock). etc. etc. etc.
Guest Big McLargeHuge Report post Posted October 20, 2002 You're right. Business as a whole is down. But HHH isn't really helping. He may think he his, but res assured, he isn't doing anything.
Guest IB2BLACK Report post Posted October 20, 2002 How is everything HHH's fault?
Guest danielisthor Report post Posted October 20, 2002 How is everything HHH's fault? well most here will say because he "holds" better talent down and he's in 5 to 10 segments every week.
Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted October 20, 2002 I would have no problem with HHH if he was just like any other wrestler and wasn't using his dating Steph to get himself over and not jobbing to anyone.
Guest IB2BLACK Report post Posted October 20, 2002 Isn't he the champ, and the 5-10 segments is an exageration.
Guest IB2BLACK Report post Posted October 20, 2002 using his dating Steph to get himself over He was over before he started dating her, and even if he wasn't dating he'd, still be over. jobbing to anyone Should he lay down for Spike Dudley.
Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted October 20, 2002 You took that the wrong way. I didn't mean he should job for anyone, though if he was asked to he should. I meant he should job to people. He never puts anyone over. I know he was over before dating Stephanie as well. He deserves a main event spot, but he keeps doing stuff to try and put himself over more and not what is good for the company.
Guest danielisthor Report post Posted October 20, 2002 Isn't he the champ, and the 5-10 segments is an exageration. well, i don't keep any official count and not being a HHH hater as some here are, but i think i read that he was involved in 6 segments this past week. so 5 to 10 isn't much of an over exageration. Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted October 20, 2002 Dude, once HHH feels a little animosity between him and vince, or him and steph - there will be a baby in the over before you can say 'Dad-uh'
Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted October 20, 2002 To answer the original post, HHH doesn't have the biggest ego in the WWE. Probrably a top 5 candidate, but certainly not the biggest *coughHogancough*. HHH isn't the one factor in why business and such is down. He is a contributor, don't get me wrong, but he is not the sole reason. Plenty of blame to go around for that one.(Taker, Gerwitz, Steph, Patterson, some of the other road agents, and most of all Vince)
Guest Nater Report post Posted October 20, 2002 HHH's recent runs have been boring and lackluster. He isnt entirely to blame for what is going on in the WWE. I would say what is wrong is that WWE refuses to use and push new talent that can lift the sport up to new levels.. which is always a possibility since well ratings dont really get double digits. Hogan brought the company up tremendously. Macho did his work to help. Bret brought it up. Austin debatedly raised it more than Hogan.. Rock brought new levels.. HHH isnt doing it, so they better try something new. I would go as far to say that DX HHH is far superior to Crips as far as new interest..
Guest deadbeater Report post Posted October 20, 2002 I say it's the writers and road agents not named Findlay, Malenko and Taylor that is bringing the product down. Even HHH has to do with what is given him. He was much, much better in the Hemsley-McMahon error, as he was doing Stone-Cold style ass kicking and taking. Secret Agent 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2002 How can you blame Triple H for every problem in the WWE? He like any other wrestler has to do what the writers come up with. Triple H isn't involved with booking meetings anymore, no wrestler is allowed to. The whole shows started to plummet before Triple H was even back from his injury. (Which i can recall tons of people saying that HHH was what the WWE needed back.) If you people want to see less of HHH, than stop buying his merchandise. I guarentee that has a lot to do with who stays champ. Plus, HHH is the champion of nothing as everyone says its a fake title anyways. You want to blame somebody blame the writting staff. Blame Vince's new "Soap Opera, you killed somebody while cheating on her with your wife, now shes back and seeking revenge while disguising herself as victoria" storylines. I don't know who was writting the shows around the 2000 time frame with the Foley, Rock, HHH, stuff but that was some pretty good shit then. If they could do that kind of stuff again i think they would be doing good for themselves.
Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted October 20, 2002 Triple H isn't involved with booking meetings anymore, no wrestler is allowed to. Triple H found his way back into Booking meetings once Austin left.
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted October 20, 2002 Like I said before we need to fix up a Smark and make steph fall in love with him. then HHH be gone and we start seeing Extended movesets and puro flavor LOL
Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted October 20, 2002 Triple H isn't involved with booking meetings anymore, no wrestler is allowed to. Triple H found his way back into Booking meetings once Austin left. Even if HHH found his way back into booking meetings, it's ultimately Vince's baby. Here is something that is going to be hard for people here to swallow: Vince IS the creative process. Gerwitz, Heyman, and even Steph are just his lieutenants marching to Vince's orders. And that is from the Observer.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted October 20, 2002 Yes, but Vince won't go away until he's dead. Something can be done about HHH.

Guest Pop Culture God Report post Posted October 20, 2002 Saying Vince has control of his company is like saying King Lear had control over his empire. Vince won't move against Steph who he feels is the next Chairperson.
