Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Fiedler isn't great, but he's the perfect fit for the Dolphins. He's something like 26-11 as a starter for them. And you can't tell me that if Buffalo came into this game losing Bledsoe, Moulds, and Price the week previous, that they would have won the game.
Guest Leena Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Dear Ray Lucas, Nate Clements does not play for the Dolphins. Stop throwing the ball to him, assclown. Your truly, Spaceman Spiff P.S. Fuck you. I'd be rather pissed if I was a Dolphins fan too. My god, he was terrible. That performance earned him the Ray "Goddamn" Lucas moniker along with Tony Banks and Rob Johnson.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 "And you can't tell me that if Buffalo came into this game losing Bledsoe, Moulds, and Price the week previous, that they would have won the game. " Was Lucas still the QB? Maybe if Bledsoe (who didn't have a big day at all) was hurt it would have forced them to run the ball more. That would have been nice.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Well, we've got a bye this week, so hopefully the 2 weeks will allow Lucas to get in sync w/ his receivers. Signing Chris Carter should be a plus also, and getting Chambers back.
Guest razazteca Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Ray Lucas can't be any worst than Quincy Carter. 4 INTs.....3 to the same person 1 option pass gone wrong
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Lucas threw 4 INTs...3 to the same person and fumbled once on a hand off for a reverse, and once on a regular handoff, because he was falling down.
Guest Leena Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Lucas had 5 INT's, 3 to the same person. Lucas suckness > Quincy suckness
Guest Leena Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 I apologize. Only 4 INT's, and 2 fumbles from Lucas.
Guest The Voices In Your Head Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 I gotta agree with Kotzenjunge about Brett Favre. I think he'll be back in time to start against the fins on November 4. On ESPN's Prime Time they just mentioned that Favre was walking around the locker room without an ice pack or anything, so hopefully the injury's not as serious as us Packer fans might think it is. As for the rest of the game, Doug Pederson did fine, and they actually scored a couple of times with him at the helm. I was really surprised Ahman didn't have 100 yards, and I thought the defense did a good job, but they need to cut down on the penalties. On the positive side, I couldn't believe how many fumbles they caused today.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 I am stuck watching Tampa job to the Eagles. Using wrestling terms in football? Geez, Kahran. Hey. Anytime a team decides to play Rob Johnson, it looks as if the fix was in.
Guest Leena Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Rob actually played well the drive he was in, but that was due to poor Eagles' scouting. Against Rob Johnson, blitz everyone and watch the deer in the headlights.
Guest The Czech Republic Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Stupid Packers, stupid Favre. I wish he'd tear a quad and shut those foam-wearing fat guys up in 'Sconsin the hell up.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Stupid Packers, stupid Favre. I wish he'd tear a quad and shut those foam-wearing fat guys up in 'Sconsin the hell up. Bears fan, are we? How's it like to get beat up on by Detroit?
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 The Bear fan who didn't take his loss like a man finally shows up. About fucking time, HA! Favre is God. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Watch the Lions finish second to the Pack in the North. Now all the Bears need to do is lose to the Vikings.
Guest RevEvil Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 For the second week in a row, the chargers win a game they probably should have lost. God bless the NFL.
Guest Vern Gagne Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Well, we've got a bye this week, so hopefully the 2 weeks will allow Lucas to get in sync w/ his receivers. Signing Chris Carter should be a plus also, and getting Chambers back. Lucas was 13-33 4 int, and 2 fumbles. Carter will be yelling at Lucas and the other receivers on the sidelines by the 4th quarter of the Green Bay game. I hope Carter suffers a Theisman like injury. NFC Playoff Locks barring injuries:Green Bay, Philadelphia, Tampa Bay, New Orleans, and San Fran. 1 spot is wide open.
Guest razazteca Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Carter will be yelling at Lucas and the other receivers on the sidelines by the 4th quarter of the Green Bay game. I hope Carter suffers a Theisman like injury. I don't think Cris will be doing a T. Owens or a K. Johnson power play. Chris will not be yelling gimme the ball every down, and not put up TDs. Wishing injury on people is evil.
Guest Vern Gagne Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 A leopard doesn't change is spots. It's in his nature to yell and point fingers at people.
Guest bravesfan Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 NFC Playoff Locks barring injuries:Green Bay, Philadelphia, Tampa Bay, New Orleans, and San Fran. 1 spot is wide open. Probably Arizona..........<shudder>
Agent_Bond34 Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 I'm glad you weren't right about the Saints losing, though. I'm not, and that's mostly because I'm a Niner fan. But, damn those talented Saints! Did they just HAVE to run wild in that game? Did they? j/k They did deserve to win though and they were obviously the better team since they had what it took to pull out the win. Any time, and I mean ANY time you blow a double-digit-lead, you damn well deserve to lose, I don't care who it is. Speaking of the Niners, bravesfan84, nice avatar. Oh well, at least Oakland and Dallas lost, those scummy bastards, had the Rams lost, it would've been even better. Only bad thing about the Arizona win is that it ties them for first with the Niners in the NFC West. On a completely different note, can someone tell me why there was no Sunday night game on ESPN this week?
Guest goodolemr Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 I’m watching the highlights on ESPN and they’re calling the Cowboys game one of the worst games ever. Although I’m not certain, prehaps there was no Sunday night game on ESPN because they didn’t want a football game going up against the World Series, as a courtesy on the part of the NFL to MLB.
Guest D'Lo White Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Forget about the Saints/Niners, Favre's injury, Lucas/Dolphins and the crap that was Cowboys/Cards. The story of the week is the Jets finally won again. They did it with the ugliest uniforms I've ever seen too.
Agent_Bond34 Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 I’m watching the highlights on ESPN and they’re calling the Cowboys game one of the worst games ever. Pretty ironic that a Dallas Cowboys game is being called as one of the worst games ever.
Guest Rabbi_wilson13 Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 bps, I hate to break it to you, but if Fiedler rolls into town with actual receivers, we're going to smash you. Bledsoe didn't beat us, and that's what pisses me off the most. If he lights us up, then by all means, go right ahead. But Travis Henry and Nate Clement? Thanks, but not thanks. And I'd love to see a Buffalo game where Bledsoe, Moulds and Price were out. Next Monday Night is a huge game, and it's going to be a dandy as well. That's your Super Bowl preview, by the way. Last NFC Playoff Spot: Falcons. Vick, Dunn, Duckett, solid defense. Hell, Michael Vick can beat some teams on his own. He did the Panthers. Mark-out moment of the Week: First play of OT in the SD/Oakland game, Brees to LT on the option. Romo is completely frozen, 10 yard gain. Reason #764 Why NFL Sunday Ticket Owns You: Pat Summerall calling the Cowboy game every week, and the ensuing hilarity of Quincy Carter. AFC Playoff Picture: Toss-up in West, Dolphins in East, Colts or Jags in South, Ravens or Steelers in North with the Wildcards being split between Chargers, Broncos, Raiders, Pats or Bills. Week 8 Game O' The Weeks: The battle of the dirty South when the Falcons take on N'awlins in the bayou, Broncos/Pats in what could be a wild card tiebreaker and the battle for a 4-3 record and leadership of the AFC North in Baltimore and as the Steelers come to town.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 Pack/Dolphins as a Super Bowl? Not bloody likely. I don't even know who the NFC representative will be, because I'm only predicting a Green Bay/New Orleans NFC title game in Green Bay. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest danielisthor Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 surprised Rob johnson didn't get injured. he always gets injured. Lucas blew major chunks in the game. wansteadt should of yanked him and went with Sage for the final drive or two, since the game was basically hopeless. give the kid a drive or 2 and see what he's got.
