EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2002 Oh muh gawd...Jericho might ACTUALLY have a CREDIBLE FINISHER!!! GO FIG!!! That is fucking great. THe Lionsault sucked anyways. The actual moonsault is fucking great. YAY FOR CREDIBLE FINISHERS AND SUCH!
Guest benoitrules2000 Report post Posted October 21, 2002 He only used it as an altenate ending because of the broken ropes. Goldust was in position for the lionsault when it happened.
Guest DJ Jeff Report post Posted October 21, 2002 So, first the crowd is pretty much dead I'm assuming, then the rope breaks. Not a good night for the WWE.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted October 21, 2002 heaven forbid Jericho from using his submission finisher
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted October 21, 2002 The only reason the Moonsault off the top happened cause it was improv.
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted October 21, 2002 he had to Moonsault. as my fellow Smarkians said. The middle rope broke and he wasn't gonna risk a Lionsault on any other middle rope.
Guest DJ Jeff Report post Posted October 21, 2002 So when the middle rope broke, was there lots of confusion amoungst the superstars, like I would imagine?
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted October 21, 2002 So when the middle rope broke, was there lots of confusion amoungst the superstars, like I would imagine? The crowd was like "Ooooohh" and everyone in the match was like "What the hell", but they kept composure and took the match home good enough. The crowd was too confused to react, though. Guest The Tino Standard Report post Posted October 21, 2002 Things were confusing for a second, but after watching the replay, Jericho really did a hell of a job improvising... He did the bulldog on the title belt and then landed a moonsault off the top like it was a move he's used every week for the last five year. Definitely some quick thinking by Jerky. Guest T®ITEC Report post Posted October 21, 2002 It seemed kinda rushed, but they were just taken aback, I guess. All four of the middle ropes were just hanging there... But I think everyone stayed pretty cool. EDIT: What Tino said.
Guest Dr. Wrestlingphysics Report post Posted October 21, 2002 Yeah, when it happened, I was expecting resthold city while they all decided what to do, but Jericho covered well.
Guest Prince Paul Report post Posted October 21, 2002 I agree. Jericho did a great job covering for the mishap. Booker and Christian just kind of, ran off. I laughed.
Guest cynicalprofit Report post Posted October 21, 2002 Jericho knows how to improvise, to bad he doesnt get to do it more often.
Guest Last Warrior Report post Posted October 21, 2002 Jericho did a good job tonight and i think this was another sign that jericho is stepping it up lately. Heres hoping for Jericho Vs Booker at Survivor Series. granted, it wont mean much in the long run but I would love it. Unless of course one of these two gets a shot at HHH's big fake belt. That is more likely actually as we could not have a good fued on raw unless it contained HHH. Thinking about have a 3 way for the title. Jericho -HHH - Booker. That would be a good match and judging on crowd reactions, now is the time to give booker T the belt.
