Guest BA_Baracus Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 PROMO (Stubby P. McWeed); "*Sigh*...a 6-match PPV card. [stubby remembers back a whole month ago to the good old Genesis 3 days.] ----------------------------------------------------- Show: SWF Dissention Theme Music: “All my life” by the Foo Fighters. Date: Oct. 27, 2002. Arena: The Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio! Due date: Oct. 27, 2002 at 12PM (noon) board time. TRIPLE THREAT MATCH CIA vs. Mercury vs. Xero - Who’s the biggest no-showing jobber of these 3? Tough question, but the winner of this match will be able to hold his head up high and say he isn’t quite the biggest loser in the league. Match Description – DQ and count-out rules are in effect. The first person to get a pinfall, submission or knockout within the ring is the winner. Send to: Suicide King TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH Thoth & Ced Ordonez © vs. Perfect Bo & Jay Dawg - The unlikely tag champs with the stupid name take on Creative Control endorsed team of Bo and Dawg. Should be tag team-alicious. Send to: BA_Baracus CAGE MATCH Tod deKindes vs. Annie Eclectic - The series continues with the rage and animosity between these two growing with each match. Who’ll survive the sheer horror of the uhh…chain link cage from HELL?! Match Description – The ring will be surrounded on all sides by an approximately 20 foot tall cage. The only way to win is to climb over the top of the cage and touch both feet to the arena floor. Send to: Suicide King SPIN THE WHEEL MATCH Frost © vs. Ash Ketchum - These two wrestlers have faced each other a number of times in the past. First in the tag team division, then as singles competitors and now they will battle over the hardcore title. This is their most important match yet, who will come out the victor? Match Description – Who knows? We won’t find out until the show! Send to: BA_Baracus ICTV TITLE MATCH Tom Flesher © vs. Mak Francis - Surprisingly Mak Francis managed to upset both Thoth and Perfect Bo on Storm to become the ICTV #1 contender. How will Tom Flesher, the leader of the Magnificent 7, react if he loses the title to one of his own followers? Send to: Suicide King NO-DQ MATCH FOR THE SWF HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE Sacred © vs. El Luchadore Magnifico - A couple weeks back Sacred shocked the world (or at least the portion of it that watches the SWF) by defeating Magnifico for the heavyweight title. Will Magnifico be able to regain the title in his rematch and become the 2nd only 3-time SWF champ? Match Description – Regular DQ and count-out rules are not in effect. Submissions, pinfalls and knockouts only count within the ring. Send to: BA_Baracus ---------------------------------------------- Mothernature says..."
Guest Muzz Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 It's a glorified Storm. Once again, blame it on the Aussie! It always happens.
Guest El Luchadore Magnifico Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Fwah, everyone's gonna have to give their best to make this a good show. SO pumped for the Main Event...
Guest midnight_burn Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 On paper this is probably the worst looking PPV in at least a year, but if everyone writes like they can this could turn out to be quite a good show. The main event should be particularly good, whoever wins it'll no doubt be a dandy.
Guest Rabbi_wilson13 Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Eh, it's got some potential. Main event should be awesome, and I'm expecting something spectacular from Frost and Ash. Gonna need some promos, maybe setting up some feuds for next month so there's some hardcore storylining between now and then. It be cool. G'luck to all involved.
Guest Kibagami Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Looks good, considering the depleted roster we're working with. On a related note, the retiree replies to this post now outnumber the replies from active wrestlers. There's a joke here; I just don't see it, because I'm busy watching the '94 J-Cup. S.
Guest realitycheck Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Because I feel like being facetious... TomIofIV: So, do you have any cocktail napkins? TomIofIV: I need to book this match. Heh, heh, heh. Making Tom look bad aside, it's not too terribly bad a card, but it is underwhelming considering the spectacular PPV cards everyone's used to. There are a couple... odd... matches (Mak/Flesher, foremost), but that can breed some really great matches. -Z The retire post to the thread mount. Gya' hahahahaha! Or something!
Guest CED Ordonez Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Pretty sweet uppercard and fucking cool main and semi-main. Only one question in regards to the Frost/Ash match, who gets to play Cheatum?
Guest Beingz0wningj00 Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 Right... booked.... no computer.... fuck! Bo... PM me please and thank you before Wednesday on if you are writing or not.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 c'mon, Ced, of course you do.
Guest CED Ordonez Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 c'mon, Ced, of course you do. Bitch...*realizes that came from Frost*oh...shit....
Guest AnnieEclectic Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 heh heh heh CAGE MATCH OF PURE LOVE~! I've never written one, lets see how this goes. It's a shorter card this month, but not -necessarily- bad. This could be an underdog PPV and have some spectacular stuff. Hey ho! Let's go! -Annie
Guest Tod deKindes Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 Who's posting? Stubby? I'd like to know who to send promos to at least.
Guest Ace309 Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 Feh. Remind me again why I do this? Tom collapses into an emaciated heap after finishing his match.
